Does anyone know if Essendon existed between 1872 and 1897? Melbourne between 1858 and 1897?

What about Footscray? Apparently they were formed in 1877 but they joined the VFL in 1925 so that must be a typo...

EFC and MFC are foundation members of the breakaway league from the VFA

Footscray left the VFA to join the VFL

None of these 3 change their jumpers, or anything else since the the day they were formed

I give a s### because I respect the history of the Collingwood Football Club and the original VFL and as a born and bred Victorian I have scant regard for the SANFL success of the PA Magpies except as an acknowledgment that they were good in their own little country league in SA.

Obviously. Whether you like it or not this is a national completion.
Most football followers outside Victoria respect the history of Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond, North Melbourne etc I have scant regard what state each club is registered.. I'm from South Australia and most like me have a broad appreciation for all clubs, their histories, cultures and traditions. And yet, you, a person from a state with a much larger population has such a small town mentality. Are you typical of all Victorians ?

Oh, and that club from the little country league interstate, i assume you would also acknowledge has been champions of Australia a record four times.

We actually stopped using the old Port Magpie logo this year and both teams now use the monogram logo. Strange strategy we have there for bringing back the magpie hey?

Turn it up ..the monogram logo has black and white stripes on it and nothing that says Power

The only thing missing is a picture of a magpie

I am a little shocked no one from Port who were around when the contract was signed thought to maybe give Kochie the heads up it actually exists.

The contract Eddie claimed existed clearly didn't. This one is a far cry from that!

Turn it down. The old logo also had black and white stripes, also in reference to our heritage that you care little about. Under the lightning bolt mate. You can't miss it mate.

If on the clubs website, there is reference to Magpies, read or watch the video and you just might realize it relates to the South Australian Port Adelaide team that are still called the Magpies. One website that administers to one club that has two different emblems in two different competitions in two different states.
