Since Burton's 50 I've seen many, many instances of a late shove in the back ignored and only one instance paid. And that was on the wing, not in front of goal where a goal had already been scored. I doubt we'll ever see that again.

How did we lose to them with a even worse side than this.

Because we played even more stupidly against them than Melbourne are. Richmond rely on other sides being stupid enough to play to their strengths, and they'e got Melbourne hook line & sinker. Just like us when we played them.
We got it so wrong against Richmond that it showed us what to do right against WCE.
But Melbourne just don't have the skills. At least we have the skills, when we choose to use them.
