Im convinced theyre targetting Karen Rolton Oval, the mass upgrades and general snobbery that permeates that entire precinct screams Camry Crows.

I love the work that's been done down there, but ****ed if I know how building that in the parklands snuck under the radar of everyone.

I hope it's a Port-Brisbane grand final and all the players line up for a ceremonial pre-game piss on that patch of MCG grass.

I'm happy for their to be a SMA at the AO, but in it's current format needs to be turfed out and re governed so it's a fairer outcome for all parties..

eg 2 Port reps, 2 AFC reps, 2 SACA reps.. etc..etc..etc.. with no current club board members/club officials allowed to be on both.
The SANFL should be having little say on how the oval is run and where funds raised goes, remember they wanted to stay at West Lakes and didn't want to move.

It's half Footy, half Cricket, so 4 for SACA is fine. It should be 2 PAFC, 2 AFC, 4 SACA, with a Government appointed Chair with the deciding vote on any tied votes.

Years ago I worked with a young lady whose dad was part of the Brown ministry when the Libs came to power after the State Bank disaster. Therefore he was on Team Brown and the hatred she espoused about Team Olsen was quite remarkable - hell they were on the same side. However it didn’t take long before the leader of Team Olsen decided to shaft Team Brown and take over the State.
You could see it happening
My memory is still a bit dim but I think Team Olsen won the next election with a substantially reduced seat count (I think the Labor opposition would have had trouble fielding a cricket team when Team Brown won that State Bank election). By the next election the Libs were back in opposition - all thanks the J Olsen!

Yeah, Brown got in as an inoffensive guy, rather than a seasoned politician. Got within a whisker of controlling both chambers and if wasn't rolled would have had a still sizeable majority the following election. Those Libs voting for Olsen only screwed themselves over, it took almost 20 years for people to get over how idiotic the Libs were doing that and elect Marshall.
