I really don't like the way Buck's threw Mayne under the bus. There have been lots of rumours about the Mayne contract but there's no room to be treating your players like that. Undermine players, recruiters and club. Don't like it. Bucks annoys me. I hope we are respectful with any potential Trengove move at end of the year. It's one thing to be ruthless but people still need to be treated with some respect.

Good point. It's not Chris Mayne's fault Collingwood offered him the deal of a life time when he was on the verge of being delisted by Fremantle.

Realistically, Mayne belongs in that Tom Logan bracket for guys who got the absolute best out of their ability.

The AFL taking another shit on the history of the game just to make things easier. Would definitely have been interested if it was actual state against state.

State v State would just be Victoria winning every single game followed by some really bad quality games.

On top of that, you just can't logically expect all of WA, SA, Vic, QLD, NSW, NT to field full 16-woman teams with benches to play each other once and have it balanced and fair.

Oh, I was listening to MMM on the way home. Gloating about how great Vic was that they win the legends game and will win the women's game etc. what a waste of time if only one state gets to represent themselves.
