Just had a look at the crers GF disaster thread and if you want a good laugh i recommend the last 12 pages of it. Kudos to the two or three Tigers supporters arguing their case against elite crows fanatical insistence that the home ground advantage was the chief cause of their loss. The last 5 pages are especially funny when the crers start throwing the toys out of the cot.

That's the biggest farce in the AFL. Until the GF is either played at a neutral ground or the home ground of the highest-finishing team, it will the VFL.

The MCG for the grand final is fine. However it should be every side gets a minimum of 2 games there a year. Plus the chance to train on it multiple times a year, including during the bye week before finals for all sides in them.

Whilst non-Victorian sides will always be at a disadvantage, this could be made much more equitable.

Perhaps, but we are one of the most tightly controlled, regulated and watched societies, with several monopolies..one being Foxtel pay tv, owned by a global media tycampaigner who wields enormous influence over our governments, this there’s big focus and attention on these things that take some pocket change out of some billionaires pockets.
