American dude that sold me a fuzz pedal in email exchange asks random question "is Melbourne in Adelaide?"

Well Lord Melbourne and Queen Adelaide were contemporaries, so you never know...

I can believe that. So does Jay Leno. There are quite a few interesting videos where he reveals his countrymen's (don't tell SA Education I said that) ignorance.

I wonder if a Collingwood v Carlton game has ever not been on FTA before o_O
The AFL’s marketing machine has missed the point again this weekend in Sydney.

No NRL this weekend because of State of Origin, yet GWS played in Brisbane and Sydney had the bye and no FTA footy today. The ‘V’ in AFL still very loud.

Collingwood lead by only 11 points at half time. Not did I expect that. But Collingwood on top in most categories and it looks to be only a matter of time. 30 more disposals, 10 more frees, 12 more hit-outs, 7 more inside 50s, 6 more marks inside 50.

HARRIS Andrews was admitted to hospital last night after his condition worsened following a sickening incident with GWS forward Jeremy Cameron on Saturday night.
Andrews is expected to leave hospital on Sunday night and will be in the care of family and Lions medical staff.
Brisbane general manager of football, David Noble, said Andrews would undergo tests over the next few days

So, just like Melbourne at half time on Friday night?

Unsurprising.

O'Shea takes Levi Greenwood high against the boundary at Collingwood's 50m line.

Levi takes a step to his right and gets called to play on, Carlton player standing beside him(!) immediately tackles him. Play on again.

Unlucky. If only some bloke had've inconsequentially ambled past him many metres off to his right, the ump would've kicked it for him.

How can Cameron not get 5-6 weeks now?

Cameron should go for 6. The Vics love to paint Jonas as a thug, but Cameron already had a rap sheet to make Jonas look like Mother Theresa prior to whacking Andrews. With this if he gets any less then 4 weeks Brisbane should cop the penalties for publicly calling it inadequate and say they are going to look into their lawyers looking into the fairness of the tribunal.

We must be due to another delayed FTA telecast again.
Is this the week or will they reserve it for a more important game?

Btw FU Rupert Murdoch

Gillon and the AFL are just as much at fault for this mess.

Remember when Gillon said he was here for the fans!
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

If Bill is 95kgs he needs to lift his gut off the towel rail.
I'm led to believe that the Geelong players ran laps around Billy Brownless during the off season. The Crows did the same with Darren Jarman.

Yep, it should be 6 minimum with his record.

But we all know the AFL will be the AFL on this.

Cameron has to be looking at 6-8 weeks now. Can't be any less, if it is the AFL are protecting their own.

I remember back in ‘05, our home Showdown (we wore the light blue & white heritage guernsey) was up against a match between said Victorian teams (both Saturday night) & Ten decided to show our match on national FTA.

The truly sad thing is if certain players did what Cameron did to Andrews in a Preliminary Final, they'd still be allowed to play the week after if they win.

That might be a slight exaggeration.

Jonas got 6 for his hit on Gaff but apparently if he admitted he ****ed up and didon't try to argue his case he would have got 5. I did a summary last year, of all the hits to the head, think since 2013, after the Houli case was appealed, of what the AFL counsel argued and what the panel or appeals board final result was and pretty sure Jonas was the only 6 week penalty, the rest were 4 or 5. Will dig it up when I get home. So if Cameron says he will cop his lot and not try and defend it, he will get 5 weeks.
