I was going to join the chorus of "no more memberships for me" (four at our place) until I stared wistfully at my 2018 members pen and fridge magnet. How will I survive a season without these fan essentials?

I actually am reconsidering my membership. It was always going to be a challenge next year with a son playing U18s on Saturdays and would have been more of a donation to the club with us attending a few games. But now i am so angry I want to send a message. But stuff me if don't soften at season's end and go well it had better be different next year .. and it isn't. Groundhog Day indeed.

Oh and i never even put on my 2018 sticker on my car as i can't remove the 2017 hellhathnofury sticker. Oh hang on maybe it's my fault this season has gone the same way brb.

I'm in a quandary with my 2018 sticker. I line them up, OCD style, on the workshop window. This year they changed the format and after 8 months I've still yet to figure out where to put it. Definitely a task for the off-season

Pretty much everyone tipped Norf, so it won't affect my ladder position. And we can really use a WB win.

Well he'll still have to play at Emptyhad & in Tasmania umpteen times a year so our garbage isn't quite as pungent.

I don't know playing there could be seen as excuses as to why they stumble. We are hot garbage at home at our beautiful boutique oval.

I can't see Sydney taking our place if we win one game. They have a horror run. With North Melbourne's loss we could even make it into the finals without another win. Everyone would hate that and we'd be in and out. If North get past the Saints by less than 50 and Sydney lose their last three games we are in finals. Mind you, this is the mathematician in me, not the Port supporter speaking.
