hahaha this is epic.

i couldnt be happier than to see the crows with a big win in a dead rubber. you know they will now feel they have redeemed their season with this win.

as i saw one crows supporter comment on fb. "we would have been in finals if syd had beaten richmond"

..... another way to look at it is you would be in finals if you won the required amount on games.
Actually they finished below West coast so they still would not have played finals.

Rowe and 5cc just thrown the lines open fav Rutten moment... time for someone to ring in about his McKernan moment.

Please AFL suspend him, please please please please!

inb4 2005 Showdown final.

Great when your career highlight is having a better day than an actual champion.

There was an advertisement for the cows at AO run at one point in the telecast of their game. It showed their supporters crossing the bridge and Bruce saying "you never know what's going to happen here!"
That's certainly right because they've won 6 and lost 6 at AO.

Might have been interesting to see what would have happened if Richmond hadn't won. It's difficult to say Sydney would have won if McGlynn and Franklin had played. Although it's likely seeing as the margin was only 3 points at the end.

What impressed me about the Tigers last night, and against the Crows three weeks ago and against us earlier in the year, is that when challenged in the last quarter, they stood up, absorbed the pressure and then gave back better and stronger than they had received.
They look like a mentally tough side at the moment.

If it gets into an arm wrestle late in the match against us, I would be pretty wary of their resilience. We can't afford to fall back against them early, because they have proven to be pretty good at defending leads even against opposition sides with momentum.

Except west coast was also infront of them so no..

I would say that Cows supporters are in a perpetual state of stage 1, Denial

Wonder if they'll be making excuses for Paddy next year ?

Round 1 2015:
oh Paddy must still be banged up from 2014, which would explain his uncharacteristic shank..
If they lose in round 1, the excuse will be, "We're still feeling the effects of playing in the Brisbane heat last August."

Whats this 1,000,000th fan coming through the gate today thing? Didn't that happen at the away showdown which ironically ended up being a Port supporter?

The previous prize was for the 1,000,000th AFL supporter to attend Adelaide Oval, including our 2011 game. That backfired, so today they marked the 1,000,000th supporter for the year.

Well technically if they didn't count the 2011 game shouldn't the 1,000,000th supporter have come through the following week when we played Essendon?

Because there hasn't been 1,000,000 people to crows home games alone this year lol

The dear was almost in tears for benefiting from the quirk of a dubious counting rule. Even X Lotto requires the nous to pick numbers in the right range.
