To be initiated into cRowie & Bone style media shortly...

Don't you worry, he is the best person ever in the history of CEOs, most importantly, better than KT.

EXCLUSIVE: New Crows CEO...

Maybe he'd be able to keep Grimace at Adelaide, seems to be missing his friends and family. Ron is his bestie

Rowe: "Who the dickens....?"

Bone: "This is a twist."

Rowe: "Rain on Port's parade. Please, sir, could I have some more?"

Bone: "Winter of discontent followed by a summer of content."

Rowe: "Who wrote that?"

Bone: "Dickens."

Caller: "Shakespeare, sort of."

Rowe: "Who the dickens is Shakespeare?"

Haysie has turned down their job offer.

Port for life.

I reckon he would have but I also reckon he provided a convenient smoke screen - Caro and Rooch went on about Haysie and someone with EPL experience but with an SA background. Floating Haysman to the local media had all the intrigue of controversy and would have kept them away from digging around for a rugby bloke.

Fagan has some impressive credentials. Looks like his first job post Uni was a decade at the Australian Sports Commission. He would have picked up plenty of intel on various sports, government financing and contacts. His time at the Brumbies was exaggerated by 5aa. They finished top the year before he took over and then finished 2nd in his last year as CEO with no other top 4 finish. He was CEO mid 2005 to end of 2013.

As bomberclifford said last night, he'd been told Haysman was outright offered the job, his current employer came back with a counter offer to keep him, and Haysman spent the weekend considering his options. Obviously he gave them a "thanks, but no thanks" and the crows went to their second choice.

Andrew Fagan?
I can't wait to hear Stupid Bone shorten his name for familiarity purposes:eek:.
Will it be "***" or "Faggy"?

Goddard, the player who jumped from one sinking ship to another ....
A little unfair. Saint Kilda has been pretty much encouraging their older A-listers to move so as to get value for them in regenerating their list.

Bad news for us. Haysman would've been a great ally in the fight against our common off-field enemies at the SANFL and SMA. It's funny to laugh at the Crows getting slops again, but this is one occasion where I wish that they'd gotten their man.

This. Although Haysman would have turned the Crows into a bigger club, his negotiating with KT and Kochie in taking down the common enemy the SNAFL would have significantly benefited us financially. Oh well. Hopefully Slops Fagan being an outsider really takes the fight up to the SANFL, but I won't hold my breath.
