New Adelaide coach Phil Walsh has embraced having Buccheit on board and even wants to expand his role as he instils his “elite standards’’ ethos into the club.

This season Walsh has demanded they be able to repeatedly run at high intensity.

“Every new coach brings in new ideas,’’ Poulos said.

“We’ve just started a three-year plan with Walshy and it’s going to be a long journey with the group.

Poulos. What a rube. They're so desperate for attention outside of the state that they have become a parody of themselves. "Hey, look at us! We're doing the same thing Port is doing!" There's a bit of a difference between being the high performance manager of a Premier League club like Liverpool, where the focus is on fast ball movement and circulation of players, to that of Ligue 1 club.

Meanwhile, Burgess is getting interviews in a non-sports national magazine like Men's Health. Sorry Walsh, but the interval running isn't some big secret. It's the OTHER stuff, the stuff that you had no idea about - the data on player health, training loads, who can be pushed harder, who can't - that is the real power behind our fitness. You know, the stuff you couldn't lift from us when you padded your pockets with 30 pieces of silver.

It's the same reason why they don't want to disclose their membership numbers, even though every other club in the league does. They know they are being left behind in relevance, and if they posted a figure that was less than Port Adelaide, that would confirm it to everyone across the country. So they keep it inhouse, and wait for the inevitable reduction on our figures when the AFL takes away our Magpies memberships so they can trumpet to sponsors how they are still the number one team in town. Apparently, Fagan still uses the bullshit '70/30' rule in decisions, even though it's quite clear that it's probably more like 60/40 these days.

Remember when we came into the competition, how Adelaide had a 6 year head start, and they won back to back flags which cut us off at the knees for awhile in terms of growth? Well, you should all send a Christmas card to Neil Craig, Kurt Tippett, Rob Chapman and Brenton Sanderson, because those four have given our club a 6 year window (2013-2018) of opportunity to leave these cretins in the dust.

As Stuart Cochrane said at the AGM, when talking about growing up in a Port hating family and why that was so: "Port Adelaide is the club you wished you supported."

Meanwhile Walsh doesn't sound like he has ANY ideas of his own. Of course he does have his own ideas, but the crows are so gutless that they wouldn't promote them because their supporters want to be just like the PAFC. So their promotion is to just simply show our fans we are doing what Port done.
