That’s because SPP has been massively overrated for the past 5 years, he’s bog average with a few flukey goals here and there. Apart from that, his disposal is poor, his composure is poor and he regularly makes poor decisions.

You have Rankine and Rachele as the forward mids and Keays as the workhorse and is the heart and soul type of player. Then you add in Thilthorpe, Fogarty and Walker as your talls and look at the goal kicking power.

At Port, they only have Georgiades and Rioli who you can rely to at least score. Lord is no good, DBJ is a defensive forward who bobs with a couple of goals but isn't the type of small forward to kick multiple goals every game. SPP is another defensive forward except he can't kick goals on a regular basis and Finlayson is hot and cold.

I’ll give you one thing, Collingwood always struggle against the Crows no matter how good or bad they’re going.
Some teams just match up good on some sides like the Crows do with Collingwood.
