Well the AFL is basically designed for Collingwood to have success so the league won't step in and upset them, West Coast are just a footy club that doesn't make a fuss over a nothing issue.

Heard on Footy Furnace tonight that Carlton in their last 23 games have won only 8 games and 3 wins have been against WCE and 2 against Norf. I had to look that up, and they are right.

They were 11-4 last year and then in the next 9 games only beat WCE and Norf and lost 6 more before just making the finals and lost the 5v8 EF at the Gabba by 3.10. The Lions poor goal kicking saved them a humiliation.

This year they have beaten WCE, Norf and Geelong a 3 in a row stint after losing their first 4 games, and then have beaten StK, an undermanned Essendon and WCE again.

I knew they have been bad but didn't realise it was that bad. We can't lose to them on Thursday night.

A new poll, conducted for The Australia Institute, reveals more than two-thirds of Tasmanians believe the stadium deal is unfair and want Parliament to stand up to the AFL and negotiate a new deal.

The YouGov poll of 842 voters asked the extent to which they agreed or disagreed with the statement “The AFL is treating Tasmania unfairly in its requirements for granting Tasmania a license to join the national competition”.

• 21% disagreed
• More Labor voters (72%) than Liberal voters (60%) agreed
• More men (72%) than women (65%) agreed

oters were also asked the extent to which they agreed or disagreed with the statement “The Tasmanian Parliament should renegotiate with the AFL to avoid building a new stadium”.

• 27% disagreed
• The same percentage (69%) of women and men agreed

Funny you mention what Voss has been doing for 13 years... He's about to be sacked as a senior coach for a second time during Ken Hinkley's tenure

A guy in my football group chat said this earlier today - In 2013 Michael Voss was sacked as the senior coach of the Brisbane Lions... He went and became a reality TV coach, then parlayed that success into becoming Ken Hinkley's understudy in 2015, culminating in his appointment as the Carlton senior coach, and will be sacked before Ken, he's gone full circle and achieved no less premiership success than Ken as a senior coach

Just to underline how unserious Port are as a football club holding on to one loser coach for 13 seasons while Voss has done a full lap only to arrive basically at the same spot he was in 2013.

My comment wasn't that we will definitely win, its more we can't (shouldn't) lose to a club that bad, and if we do, there should be consequences, but we know there won't be.
