Some of those seem way out..Head of Fitness on $200k is surely way unders or have they just taken the Essendon guys number?

No way head of fitness is only 200k.

Also I vomit at the thought of Bitcho getting that much coin while we pay piss to attract poo coaches across the board.

Might be one for the unpopular opinion thread, but if we paid umpires more (and made them professional) would we get a better standard of officiating?

Poorly umpired games must affect TV/Kayo ratings. I know if I'm ever watching a neutral game (admittedly not often these days), I won't persist when the Vic-bias kicks in.

Well I have pretty much stopped watching all game other than Port games.

Umpiring is a factor, but it more to do with how predictably bias the competition is. Just look at the number of ex-Hawthorn stooges there are in the media.

Definitely should be spending more on fitness.

The coaches wages are pretty good but you can see why the likes of Riewoldt x 2, Hodge, Selwood, etc haven’t got into coaching when you can dine out with way less stress in the media.

They traded and recruited well last year . They've had a dream run sure but you need that for success.
I dunno about that. Their numbers were decent even when they didn't finish well, they score heavy , their defense has more stability, they've found a few players from nowhere and their midfield competes. They never get hammered when they lose like we do and they beat us 90% of the time. They're just in a better position going forward than us.
They've been irrelevant for 8 years.

The teams to worry about are Brisbane and Hawthorn.

LOL is that it?

Instead of dismissing it for what it most obviously was in context — a floggy Pies fan firing off a quip at the expense of perennially hapless Carlton and their frothing fanbase — a mob of handwringers run it up the flagpole and an already stressed Michael Voss gets notified he’s been subject to a ‘death threat’.

Lol fmd.
