Hard to see Adelaide loosing another game this year. Collingwood too old as are Geelong. Brisbane not quite able to capture their 2024 form.

Geelong 2007 is one of the greatest teams of all time and you are comparing them to the Crows this year?????? Cmon dude.

Also in what world are you ruling out Collingwood or Brisbane? Both of those teams will slaughter the Crows in finals. Hawks are pretty average, god we even beat them this year, and they should’ve won that game last night if they didn’t shit the bed.

Geelong were good in 2007 but as it stands statistically at the moment the crows are having a better year this year than they did in 2007 and yes you're right re their unknown form come finals but they're peaking at the right time (like Geelong were and every other premier in recent years) and to state that the crows will get slaughtered is wishful thinking given they just don't get "slaughtered " by anyone. They're always in the game, this is a hallmark of premiership sides and they've got all those behaviours down pat. Credit to the fact they tipped that club upside down a few years ago and weeded out all the losers that created a disconnect between their administration and their members. It's exactly what we need to do.

They'll still always be a plastic fake franchise supported by theatregoers but whatever they've done the past few years has worked.

I'm not a crows fan I hate them I just hate being second fiddle to a fake organisation like there's and I put it all on us for being complacent and watching them sail past us whilst we are just happy to exist and make people feel happy and proud?

We have watched numerous opposition rabbles sail past us and win finals and flags under Ken who's had more talent playing under him than all of them put together. Richmond, Bulldogs , Collingwood, Melbourne and now the Crows (who will have a sustained period up the top).. all absolute dog shit when ken gave us a sugar hit in 2013/2014, some have rebuilded twice since then and won more finals than us .. but that's alright keep calling me a Crows fan?

I don't remember seeing Manchester United fans not being angry when Liverpool won the Premier League, whereas many Port fans on here, remarkably, won't be angry when Crows, our biggest rivals, are Premiers. What a pathetic fanbase we have.

I forget how good Geelong were but given the Crows play North and West coast in the next month I’m sure they’ll comfortably eclipse those numbers before the end of the year. Always easier being a vic team when you travel half the amount as non Victorian clubs as well.

And with West Coast and North to come, hardly the ideal run to finals. Even last year they had some big losses, so the seams are there to unpick if you're good enough.

Still, they have met every challenge apart from Geelong at AO earlier in the year, so they have the team to be one of the genuine finals threats.

I agree but they beat us by 100 last week and still backed it up in finals like atmosphere on a Friday night after being 6 goals down, kicking 8 unanswered goals without much issue , they have a few gears they've never had before.. but yes it is unusual to be up for this long but it's not like we haven't seen it before , the last comparison probably is Geelong 2007. Pray for injuries because not much else will stop them

They've had a charmed run this year to go with their good form include being looked after by umpires. Like 2017 that can all come undone on one day and there's your season gone.

Exactly. As I said before, I've lived through Glenelg, Sturt, Norwood winning premierships even when Port was a powerhouse. I didn't like it but I didn't carry on like a pork chop about it. I'm sure you have too.

I haven't disagreed with any of that, but it has been going like that all year for them. Usually any team can hit a road bump. And it does matter who they've beaten. That proviso has been hung on the Hinkley years for a long time now.
