They just still aren't utilising Houston. Literally had Josh Daicos run one side past Cameron who had the mark on the 50 then Maynard runs past to grab hand ball receive to do a short kick to Sidebottom on the boundary Maynard... That is where they should be using Houston but pretty much all year they just don't.. and he hasn't done what he normally does whether that's because he's been told not to and to just stay out of the way.. who knows Pies should of just never traded for him and allowed Carlton as one example to trade and offer probably better overall for him and he would of done better at Carlton in all honesty..

Just not true at all. Houston had 10 in the first quarter and burnt the ball almost every single possession. He is also so incredibly soft at the contest when defending.

Err, what i stated is true actually. I never mentioned any of what you said and I agree with that. I stated they aren't using him properly which IS true. And yes, Houston is and can be soft defensively, he always has been but he wasn't really used as a defensive type player in that respect. He's just not clicking with this team. That's not on just him but the team mates and Mcrae coaching plus assistants.

They are 110% in it for the now.

Could be in a dire way in 2 or 3 years.

Not guaranteed yet. If pies respond next week with a win over the crows and I expect both Brisbane and Geelong to win out. With Geelong to boost their percentage with Essendon, swans and tigers all easy wins.

I’m saying that they are using him properly, because when he does get the ball he is burning it. So why would giving him the ball even more be the right thing? Errrr?

Probably why they haven't given contracts to some and/or only given low crappy contracts, example Brody Mihocek 1 year contract, to try and get them to seek a trade else where and get draft capital because they have bugger all draft capital this year. Worse than Port in regards to overall points. Probably good future draft picks is good now. Probably wouldn't surprise me if its true that Tasmania would look to get Daicos there and as captain on good coin so Pies could receive multiple top 10 picks in return to try and rebuild their list. Probably a good thing they've one a flag in that period though for him to decide on that. Don't see who they have as Key Defenders if Moore is gone or Howe gone... Heck even Frampton. They'd probably be smart to maybe see if they can move Bobby Hill on to get more draft capital? I could see Eagles paying for him or even Freo.

Apart from the daicos brothers, the rest of their better players are past their best, once the retirements come they will need a proper rebuild. I can see them out of finals for 5 years at least I wonder if Dan will regret his decision by the time he retires
