Feel free to add. Keep the umpiring talk to a minimum aswell, if possible.

I do admire your loyalty and faith fellow tige but after every game you ask what the positives from the latest defeat are and after every game the answer is the same. There are none. Richmond are easybeats.

Essendon were there to be taken. They are no good. 12 goals against the 16th team? They are useless and treally shouldn't make the 8 but we still couldn't beat them because we are even worse.

5 minutes out I thought the game was won, and preparing to put the tiger coat on like kennett.:p then they tried a risky pass, turned it over, then meyer gets tackled by hird and the game was gone!!

I'm pretty sure its the first thread I've started re: positives after a game.

3 goals up i thought we could still lose

Nothing Meyer could do Hird just stepped up as usual.

Positives was Deledio, he restored my belief in him tonight.

positives - who ****ing cares??????

sound like suckers with talk like that - we should have won !

How ****en good was deledio!!! Easily best on.

Polak was also awesome. If he didnt mark it he managed to get it on the ground.
And he will be even better next year.:thumbsu:;)

I'll just presume you mean polak and deledio :)
I mean that you look at Simmo's first year and it wasn't that great but then what happened in his second year.

Polak is playing great this year and once he has settled in completly he will play even better.

My thoughts;

Polak played as loose man in defence most of the night, you would expect him to go alright. This allowed easy exits for players like King on the overlap.
All in all I thought the positives were that the Tigers looked fitter and faster. The game was very loose, the downside of this is that the turnovers can be costly and were.
They seemed to make the Bombers forward-line reasonably impotent. Although the bombers did a bit of that themselves with some shabby kicking at goal.
Finally, Im glad the Tiges gave me something to cheer about, it was a pretty exciting game.:)

Deledio - His run off half back was magnificent tonight. Starting to become the player we were waiting for.

Jackson - Maybe his position has now been found. A forward pocket type player who can kick 2-3 goals a game and also has a snare for some real gems.

Polak - Has taken his career to the next level and is really a solid rock down back. :thumbsu:

King - Never stops working. Tries his heart out and drives the ball out of defence quite well, around most contest too. A great pick up.

Richo - What more can I say? A fractured eye socket and 4 goals. Should have been 5 but hey we don't make the rules do we?

How come Hird got the award for best on ground 2night?

That tackle I think.

Didnt do alot else to change the game.

Nothing Meyer could do anyway.

Positives were we were exciting and Lids had a blinder.

Positives:

Deledio delivering on the promise now needs to start playing like that as a midfielder, cut the Bombers to ribbons when he took them on.

Pattison might not have been the best but again showed he is going to be a valuable contributor to our side going forward, rucked manfully against a big guy in Hille and although made a few mistakes kept his head up and kept presenting.

Polak played well as the 3rd man up and if he didn't mark it no-one else did. Taken Joel role as the QB as well setting up play coming out of defence, Tigers got this one right.

Thursfield was worried when Lloyd had 2 in the first quarter but Will closed him down for the rest of the game with Lloyd's 3rd coming after the siren. Finally we have a reliable player at FB that you are also fairly comforatble having the ball.

King rookie this year but has done enough in my book to warrant a place next year, smaller than a jockey but has a heart like Phar Lap never gives in.

Foley I said last week he has the Jack Dyer medal in the bag and did nothing to hurt his chances with another good game.

Deledio - best game to-date and apart from the geelong game and rnd 1 vs carlton which was even worse imo has been getting better and better. Was great to see his run and carry and then importantly finish it off with accurate passing.

Jake King - gotta admit wasnt his biggest fan, thought he was too small and all that, but offers great drive from defence and his kicking is actually pretty good. Shanks a couple but was impressed with the way he opened up the game with some great passes into the corridor.

Polak - Has been getting better and better. Tower of strangth for us in most games.

Thursfield - As has been pointed out did very very well to fight back after Lloyd looked like cutting loose. Also reads the play well, got into nice positions in the 2nd half by reading the play and not just watching his opponent...and you know with him the rebound will flow unlike with Gaspar.

Raines - Thought it was probably his best game of the year in terms of efficiency. Cant recall him getting caught, spilling it and/or turning it over too much. Was good.

Rich0 - self explanatory
