Lids, Cotchin, and Riewoldt have been good.
Newy's been decent, as has Richo as always.
Bowden's been ok.
Schulz hasn't done a lot wrong, but then he hasn't done a lot at all.
Foley had a good third quarter.
8 players out of 22 have not been pathetic.

newman was about the only player that could hold head high, everyone elses game was littered with errors, Lids played the quietest 32 possie game Ive ever seen ...I wouldnt have thought he had any impact at all:eek:

There's been so many threads started up since last Sunday's loss in Sydney that I'm not entirely sure where to post this particular observation. Looks like this thread will do.

Someone please tell me, in this day and age, why you would take the very same team that beats an opposition like Essendon on a dry Melbourne night into a match against a team like Sydney on a wet Sydney day?

I'm not talking making change for change sake. Merely that it seemed to be a completely dumb selection policy. Even overlooking the diametrically opposite playing conditions of one week versus the next, Essendon and Sydney are vastly different footy teams, playing totally different styles.

Is there some sort of rule which suggests that you have to go in with "No Change" after a win the previous week? Did our selectors not even bother to examine differences in match-ups?

Last weekend reeked of no homework.

conspiracy theory 31-B-876-u reckon there is a chance TW wants to force the club into sacking him...way out there yeah...but to many benefits for his future media roles, since as he has stated, he wont coach anywhere else again. Food for thought...his selections defy logic...;)
