No way I'd put him in defence. Has been really solid as a forward though, but we all know he would struggle to get a game in our forward attack right now

Change of scenery would do him a world of good. Still has the talent but he is a bit vanilla at AFL level.

The only reason it's outlandish is because he'd have to nominate our club as his 'club of choice'. Everything seems to indicate he's going to Victoria (Richmond or North) or to one of the WA clubs (Freo more likely).

I'm sure we've made enquiries, but you'd have to say it's unlikely that a star player with no ties to SA would elect to come here based on history.

We need elite talent not another depth player ... If lynch went to melb then I'd say yes for that 3rd tall fwd role but not now ...depth is otten and McGovern for that position

Realised later that Dangerfield brought the tally to 5. It's still only 2 "live" selections though, when Hampton and the rookie upgrades are taken into account.

Kruezer has signed. Leuenberger is probably an end of first round pick based on his next salary. The most it can move is 1 down and even that is doubtful.
