Convinced its the game plan and not the cattle. Simpson surrounds himself with meh coaching staff and it shows.

I think Healy made a good point. Our players are so focused on corraling rather than attacking the ball carrier that all we do is give the oppo time to cut us open, and the width of the G is perfectly set up for that.

The problem is that I don't think you can coach the players to go from playing one way this week to attacking the ball carrier next week just to suit the conditions. That is a serious problem.

I think you need to come to terms with that Nic doesn't change anything, he has played in and been just as soft and pathetic as the rest of the group in big games.
I'm just saying don't think NN is the answer for this group because he isn't.

In general we lack:

* Intensity. Most WCE players run away from a contest rather than throw their body on the line.
* Football intelligence. I think this is the dumbest football team I have ever seen. Most players are completely unaware of what is going on around them and often handball to a player under greater pressure than themselves.
* Poor attitude. Most players don't seem to really care when they lose. They are overpaid and are complacent just to win more games in a season than lose.
* Don't play for each other. There doesn't seem to be a lot of passion in this team. No real desire to put your body on the line for a teammate.
* Hurn the wrong choice as captain. His football has gone backwards since he took on the role and we need someone inspirational.
* Mentally soft. Players go missing as soon as the game gets hard.
* Average midfield. Masten, Redden, Hutchings, Priddis all need to go - forever.

I have emptied the bar and riding a rollacoster of emotions right now.

I think it's the group and also the club, we just seem happy to win enough games to meet KPI's but really becoming a force is not here or there for the club.

Coaches fault?? Well we have had a Woosha and Simpson as coach of this group, both coaches were hard as nails players and I am sure they would demand the same from their troops but neither of them have been able to build that in the group. So maybe it is simply a soft mummy's boys group?

Recruiters fault?? Another maybe, but on their day they show they can play. Just can't do it in big games so again that comes back to the groups internal character.

Bottom line is the intent and hardness at the contest does not exist and I don't think it would matter who coaches this group that will not change. Other than a miracle I can't see any player on our list winning a flag in their career unless they can find something from within.

I expect to see some hard calls on the 22 next week. And If I don't see them, then the club isnt learning from its mistakes and we arent going to win a premiership for a very long time.

Simpson isnt the only reason, maybe his match coaching is a weakness. But their are too many passengers on our list and we need experienced senior coaches to back him up.

Was without a doubt one of the worst losses in recent memory. To lose to a team so low on the ladder out of form and an opportunity to prove to everyone were a threat completely embarassed.

This without a doubt should be priddis last year. No run no carry turnover after turnover.

The midfield should be ashamed for the delivery to the forward line.

Todays game confirmed were definitely not a contender this year and will be sometime before so as we have a wide range of retirements in the midst

Furthermore our recruitment team has been a disgrace.
