The minute silence will be perfect.Anzac day will be intersting without a crowd.
if the ban is on large gatheringsThe Tiges seem to be having issues drawing a crowd to their home games this year.
Play like you've trained - right?
No crowd no yips!

No, that was Kurt Cobain. But he went out with a bang.
That's some stamina!Going to be weird as fk watching games with no crowd......gg atmosphere
Was looking forward to dogs v coll, would have pulled 80k+ easily.

I could only see that happening if several players are diagnosed with the virus, and not that quickly. The AFL can't avoid losing the revenue from attendances after the Government's decree, but things will have to get dire for them to give up the income that flows from playing the games even in empty stadiums. With payments for TV rights, advertising, endorsements and the like I suspect crowd numbers provide only a small fraction of the revenue generated by AFL games.I reckon they'll make the call to suspend the season by early next week
No, but it's a legitimate concern. Premo players are all different. Some like to beat up on weaker opposition while others go to a whole new level in the big games against top opponents. How much of that improvement in the latter group is driven by the massive crowd creating such an exciting atmosphere?Has anyone considered removing their big game players due to the possibility of empty stadiums? Legit, Dusty has been in my team since day 1 but without a bumper crowd will he play out of his skin like we know him to?
