— The last four rounds of the home-and-away season — now set to be Rounds 14-17 — will be the KFC SuperCoach finals series.

— If a season is completed the $50,000 major prizes for both KFC SuperCoach and tips.com.au will be awarded as normal, plus runner-up prizes. Weekly prices will be awarded for any completed rounds.

— The 17-game fixture will not feature any byes, so special bye round rules will not apply

— Number of trades may be adjusted to accommodate a compressed fixture or the possibility of increased team changes. Details to be confirmed.

— Player prices will be adjusted as usual, but there may be changes to when the changes take effect.

Tight asses so if 16 rounds are played they.wont pay up

I been thinking the same.

I have not posted my thoughts on it.

Unsure on Hunter Clark he hates to tackle.
This is true But with a juicy link up role and potential midfield minutes I see him as a prime break out player just has to be good with his efficiency cause he’s a line breaker and his end to last year was encouraging. Not as good as dunkleys end to 2018 but I can see similarities in terms of if it clicks Clark can go 90+

so when do teams drop and when do we get our round 1 discussion thread?
despite all this corona bullshit i'm actually getting a little excited.
I would think that we would need confirmation first that round 1 is actually going to happen first. Just can't see it myself.

The season won't start.
Until June.
That is applying the China model.
Am hoping like everyone else that it works well from there.

And isn't that just so St kilda Gruff :(

I have no idea what to do with my team now. I feel its almost pointless doing one since the season will most certainly be cancelled but just in case I will even though i have no idea what the best strategy is now.

Sorry what? The AFL has communicated anything but that. There's been consistency from the AFL regarding wanting the season to go ahead from the beginning. The talk is around what the season will look like, not whether it runs.

I heard a rumour the AFL was trying to finalise a few new franchises in the next 24 hours before the start of the season. They claim it's about bringing the game to a new and wider audience but I suspect other motives...

The Balls Pyramid Stick Insects
The Simpson Desert Camels
Macquarie Island Sealions
The Ross Shelf Bergs

Further 17 of the 18 existing clubs are being encouraged to take a one year hiatus from the comp in order to get their finances in order. The exception is the Gold Coast Suns who have the go ahead to compete this year with the other new sides.

Shortened season, no byes, possible multiple games in a week etc etc .....anyone else thinking they'll just stick with their original hot mess of a team and hope for the dam best ?

Just because they have every intention of going ahead doesnt mean they will.

Will run like shit down the wooden leg of a diarrhea patient in Fairfield hospital, season will kick off in June.

The fact they have been adamant about there being a season suggests the most likely outcome is the season happening, not it being cancelled.

So how does all this go away in the space of a couple of months? You can listen to the rhetoric all you want. I believe I should win lotto every week too. Doesn't mean I will.
