Dwell on the negatives, bc they will cost us a finals appearance, 4 years straight. But we will sign Bucks for another year, not trade for a key forward, not solve our defensive issues, continue to pay Mayne $400k a year, while he plays against Coburg next year, and sit 13th and beyond on the ladder again for another year. Thats why next year if no changes are made, l will buy a Storm membership, rather then a Collingwood one.

I've had a crack at those whinging about umpiring today but the htb call against Pig was simply woeful , given he let go of the pill immediately and it was simply held to him.

gotta disagree GC. he takes his right hand off the ball way to early and the ball rotates forward. he has a poor technique.

I think he is an under average kick for sure, not a strength but that is compounded by him trying to do more than he is capable of too often. He needs to work within the limits of the skills he lacks.

Goals from direct turnovers with no pressure cost us the game. Ongoing problem with Pies, we just don't take full advantage when we have all the acendancy. Then those cretins in fluoro just rubbed salt into our wounds. Can't remember the last time a crowd went bonkers after a game booing like that. I too had an epic melt that Clarko would have been proud of.

One thing I've noticed about this team over the years.When the game is on the the line,none of our players take the game by the scruff of the neck and win it for us.Pendlebury doesn't do it,Treloar doesn't do it,Sidebottom doesn't do it.We just seem to lack that match winning player who can take a great mark on the forward line or kick a great goal in the dying minutes of the game.It's always hard,laborious work for us,but there's never anyone there who can do that inspirational stuff that wins you these close games.

Not just today's game, but in general.......Broomhead, Aish WHE, & Phillips hear steps and are ineffective tacklers

AT the moment, they are too slightly built and get brushed aside too easily. Once they bulk up they will be more confident in throwing their weight around. Don't give up on Aish or WHE, I can see huge potential in them.

I counted 3. His effort to cut off Watts in the third was terrible. I dont think we can have Aish and Scharenberg in the same side, they both really lack leg speed.

Elliot - maybe our most dangerous forward. Forward line is far more potent with him there.
Reid - our best defender and CHB.
Goldsack - has been excellent in defence and provides air more versatility and can play small or tall.
Varcoe, Wells....

I know you guys are pissed off at some parts, but just want to come in and praise how your midfield strategised the clearance situations in the first half. Grundy basically named a spot where the ball was going, and the close mids all blocked off the spot for about a half second while he palmed in then sprinted, giving you an edge in both first to the pill and numbers at the ball and setting you up brilliantly. It was a really simple and effective setup that let you really damage from the clearance, basically how you guys did so well in Q2.
