Thanks for all the non tips

I have removed Robertson and put in Higgins, This frees up some cash for the midfield or rucks

Then i updated Johnson for Kerr

Spread it around the teams a little.

Midfield lacks a really star player, ie, Judd or Ablett or even Cooney

Rucks.. eh

Forwards, not bad.. could be better though - Fevola not reliable

As for your reserves - who in the **** Christ is Zomer?
Who's H White, Pyke? Are these players likely to play?

lol with the reserves i just put them in for the time being, i will be changing them dont worry i will be taking in your suggestions about spreading teams around, hopefully ill update my team and post the updated team tomorrow.

Good backline, maybe upgrade McPhee if you've got the cash
IMO, Wells too inconsistent for SC - break your heart one week, make you love him the next

Rucks a bit weak, need to upgrade one to a Cox/Hille

Forwards lack that one big marquee player, if you can get one then do so

Reserves fairly solid, again the rucks a bit on the weak side

Dew, Mundy and Spangher aren't probably ideal. The round 1 teams will most likely alter this a bit.

Mate der r risks and there r choosing a lot of injurered people in 1 team. Why take the supposed risk on a a guy who like gets in injured aloy when der are people who score the same and play every game.

I had nicknat and vickery as ruck emergencies too. But i reckon you need to go one or the other, as having both just soaks up too much cash on the bench.

The fact nicknat was gone for the start of the season swayed me to vickery

90% of teams i've seen on here have atleast 2 of Higgins, Malceski, Haselby. They're cheap guys who will make you money early on and might even turn out keepers

If you end up with any of these as keepers then you are struggling...

Whats wrong with Brown? I dont see a problem there

always starts of slow and seems to be getting more injuries as time goes on. (he'll probably get 200 in the first round now)

Cousins is a risk he's willing to take.. so what? To win this comp you have to take risks. Same goes for Leuenberger who could be a decent 2nd ruck if he gets the opportunities.

They are not risks? They stupid choices (well Leuey is) because he has run out of money. Cousins is far too expensive for someone out of the game for 2? years...

Yeh I had Vickory but now I hear he isn't going to play a major role either? Really undecided on who to get as backup ruckmen and am thinking maybe go the Sydney or Port Adelaide double?

I'd say that is far far too much spent on the emergencies. Higgins could easily be a starter. More likely then McGlynn and Motlop who won't play 22 games or get the opportunity to.

Midfield is really strong but I think Lewis is injured as you said.

The backline is where the money should be spent on getting keepers. I'd say Fisher is the only keeper in your team and that is not enough.

But if you want to go with the more rounded structure then the more common one then that is fine

Yeh heard Nat is injured but they are talking him up as if he's gonna be a superstar and dont think Seaby is the best choice behind Cox for ruck

Thanks for the Edit, i fixed the op.

As for Wells, i would love to have him in but just rechecked his price and i will try to down grade him and upgrade my concerns of pettard and Jack as well as my rucks.

I would love to free up some dosh to upgrade Taylor to Hille or Cox, but from where...

I guess its all part of the fun :O)

Ok, gave Hill the flick for Rance (160k is too much for a bench player) and upgraded Mundy to P Burgoyne.

So Milburn Lockyer P Burgoyne McPhee Malceski Nicoski Spangher

Just that one change makes it look a lot better i think. I really do think Nicko is looking the goods this year with a full pre-season, almost has to improve.

The rest of the team looks pretty solid, so the first cash cows can go towards funding some back line upgrades.

Yeh fair enough but TBH I can't see him averaging over 90? I hope he surprises me though...

Malceski is a great buy and with Kennelly out of the way he will slot straight into that spot nicely without any competition.You can forget about his form last year as he came back from a knee reco and took time to find his feet but he possesses a great effiency with his disposal which is ideal for SC so he is every chance to average 90+ and might even turn out to be a keeper

My first post in '09...im in London but still going to continue my supercoach career, will be tough. first yr finished 10,000+, second yr 8,400ish and last yr 2,500ish so this yr would be great to get in top 1,000. will be a hard task plenty of research ahead of me but this was my first attempt. I have really only looked into the young guns or the cash cows. So any info on young guns would be great and then if anyone thinks i have players in the line-up should not be there please give me your 2cents! Cheers guys
