Looks like alot of peoples teams are starting to look similar now with the added "Ablett factor" in it!

Here's my latest version of my team with a few tweaks.


B: Goddard, S Fisher, C Cornes, Malceski, Houlihan, Raines, Hill (Suban, Rance)
M: Ablett, Judd, Pendlebury, Dal Santo, Hasleby, Rich (Swift, Robinson)
R: Cox, Hille (Currie, Sullivan)
F: Pavlich, Deledio, Richardson, Lucas, Higgins, Skipworth, Ziebell (Gumbleton, Ballantyne)


The only differences between my team and Windas is that I have a better second ruck but he has the better third defender. I may also have the edge with the 7th forward (Ziebell and have Gumby as a reserve anyways)


What does everyone think is more important. A great second ruck or a great third defender like Gilbee. That's what its boiling down to for me.

Changed my team a fair bit to get some guy named Gary Ablett in, he was expensive but supposedly he showed a little last night.

I ended up sacrificing Cox for Ablett, just think it makes sense.

Last year Cox averaged just over 100, while ablett as captain could get you an avg of 350-400 a week, he really is the only must have.

I have almost the same forward line, but went from Maric and Ottens in the ruck, if i get 130-150 a week out of them I'll be happy.

The backline is the tricky part for all, players like Malceski, Adcock, Houlihan, Raines, and even H.Shaw all have risks associated with them, but there arent many players available under 300k who seem to be good things.

Overall, good team, keep Ablett, he is the only must have I believe.

I'm sure I'll change again many times, but I think it looks okay for now. I really wanted Petrie or Hille as a second ruck, but count me in as another person who decided they have to find a way to fit Ablett in after yesterday. The forwards are suffering a bit too, but I don't see a lot of value in the forwards under 500k so don't mind taking a risk on a guy like Riewoldt or Houlihan.
