Not being a smartass but if Jetta is a spud and towers there is no way you back your boy Sinclair up with the way he is playing atm , could change no doubt but he is playing like a what you call a spud

To be fair, i've watched a few of your games, and it's not totally his fault. He's an an outside runner. You guys can't seem to get it clear to him right now, and when you do have the opportunity, he seems to get ignored because you're launching it straight at Darling/Kennedy. I've seen him running on the wing waving his arms in 20m of space numerous times, and instead your mids are not looking and just launching it forwards to a contest. Jetta is an amazing kick given time and space, and you guys just aren't using him that way. Give him the ball on the wing and he'll pick out a target inside 50 and hit them on the chest. Make him play contested footy, and he'll be useless.

Sinclair would want to improve no doubt but he is more mobile than Nankervis and that seems to be what the coaches want atm. Not saying they're right or wrong, time will tell I guess.

He isnt working hard at all. Even the messiah Gerard pointed out when he gets a kick on the wing he just walks after hes disposed of it, No follow up run and just ambles up to the next contest. I think its more a fact of him just not giving a shit about playing for them as it was a family decision not a footballing one to return.

Thanks for all the comments guys re Jetta - very interesting and food for thought. Just hope he settles soon and shows us eagle supporters his positive qualities

I guess it's not easy changing teams at this stage of his career. As far as Sinclair is concerned he's no champion - plays the forward line better than the ruck in my opinion. But he always gives his all - has a very big heart and knows how to take a mark. I guess we both have our misgivings regarding the trade.

The best part of the trade was that both clubs got it done without too much fuss. Bodes well for future trades.

On that front, we have a guy with a huge upside. His name is Towers. We can take care of your McGovern problem in exchange.

Jetta missed games last year due to a poor attitude , which was disguised as an ankle injury, good fella, but poor work ethic

i'm not saying he doesn't play his position well most of the time, just when he has to defend. on the weekend kersten made him defend and kicked a few on him. even george hewett did in the 2nd half against us. there is a lack of accountability in his game that is probably part of the eagles strategy. i really don't get how people drool over these players that play as an extra in defence and take intercept marks all day because their midfield is on top and the opposition is just kicking it blindly from a stoppage. i'd take shepherd over mgovern in a heartbeat.
