Demons - Same old, same old.
Wouldn't same old same old see the demons finish close to top four? Not a strong argument.
Even years for Melbourne:
'98: 4th
'00: 2nd
'02: 5th

St.Kilda in, Essendon out. Rest to be very similar. Apart from Port and Brisbane the other teams are on the improve. Port will make it again. hawthorn are some chance but I can't see a lot of improvement in them.

I definitely wouldn't have Essendon as a certainty. 50/50 at best.

Big call to make any team a certainty, let alone 6 of them. I know my team is no certainty if injuries hit (something we managed to avoid pretty well this year), and I definitely wouldn't have Essendon as a certainty. 50/50 at best.
Essendon wont finish higher than the saints. No way. Essendon are on the way out. 1st 2000, 2nd 2001, 5th 2002, 6th 2003. They're in real, real trouble.Originally posted by SydneyBomber
Mark, I usually respect your opinion (and this is not a troll), but I guarantee that Essendon will finish higher than your mob next year.
Guaranteed.

I'm very tempted to make a collection of these Saints for the top 4 predictions. I have a feeling they will be very handy about half way thru next season.
Collingwood are rebuilding and we've made 2 grand finals. Pretty good eh?Originally posted by Dan26
Don't listen to any of my predictions because I alway get them wrong, but one thing I am certain of is that Essendon will be a contender again next year. I know my own club and we are gradually building up again. 13 wins in what was basically a re-building year is quite good. We are in a position somewhat comparable to where we were at the end of '98.
