Watts does lope around a bit, but you have to remember that we stuffed around with the ball a lot and he isn't used to playing at the highest level with this set of players just yet. As such, it was somewhat difficult for him to get into a rhythm in terms of his leading and off-the-ball movement.
I thought he did a good job today considering it was his first AFL match for the year though, and he was clearly better than Naitanui.

It will be much easier for him once he can go about his business without people speculating on his value all the time. He still needs to do a lot of weights and fitness work, but I don't expect to see the potential Jack Watts until next year after a good pre-season. For now, I'm satisfied.
