My dearest wish would be that it is while Richo is still playing.

Sadly I don't think it will be.

Realistically, there is no way to say, injuries and the like have a huge effect, but we should be in a position to challenge by 2011, more likely 2012.

Hope you're wrong too - hopefully we don't have to wait for SOR - Son of Richo.

with my luck..the next tiger premiership will be 1 day after my death

but i'll take it for the team;)

Trade this year strongly determines our next premiership. If we get a gun forward we'll go close in 2010 with Richo playing if not, won't be before 2013 as we will have to develop another ruckman, 2 key forwards and of what we've currently got nobody stands out as a key forward and Patto will need some support.

All the lads need to do is to learn to play together as a team. We have more than the required cattle to do the job, just a little more experience and a willingness to bury any side, to become single minded when on the field, almost bloody minded, then you will see other teams taking a step back.

All this trading is hogwash at the end of the day. Its no better than speculative trading in the share market. You win some you lose some. Footy as some people like to call it in terms of trades, is a numbers game. I disagree, with proper preperation, you can 9 times out of 10 trade for the correct player. The next link would be having the correct coach with the right mentality in place.

I have no doubts that TW knows how to coach but something happened to him between leaving the Dogs and coming to the Tiges. He has the knowledge, the experience, the nous and the drive, but what I see lacking is determination to succeed at all costs. Something needs to spark him to spark the players into thinking that they are worth while at playing in Premierships. He needs to think that he is worthy of coaching a Premiership team. I believe that he has the qualifications but I also think that he needs a shrink before the players do because if you can't articulate to the group what you want done, all your good strategies on game day and during the drafting period will amount to nothing.

Anyway, just my thoughts.
