Thanks. It now works.

This is probably a stupid question but am I able to collect my tickets on match day because I am from Victoria?

This is the first time I will have been to a game at AAMI stadium.

I also take it that it will be Saturday Afternoon?

Yes, you will be able to pick up the tickets at the stadium. When you buy the tickets online you are given a choice of having the tickets mailed out to you or to be collected. The "mail out" option probably won't be available because of the short timeframe.

Tickets that have not been collected (from a BASS Outlet) by midday on the Friday must be collected from the BASS ticket office at the stadium on the Saturday - from about 11:45 I think, for a 2:30 game, and presumably a similar time before the game if it's a night game.

We don't know yet. And I don't think this will be determined until after the games on the weekend? As I understand it the PFs will both be on Saturday - one day, one night.

This will (IMHO) keep ticket sales slow on Thursday and Friday, because a lot of people will be waiting to see if it is a day or night game, especially if they have sport on Saturday arvo.

If the Adelaide game is a day game, this will impact attendance again. I'm afraid. Although hopefully that will be more than made up for by the people who held off buying tickets to the QF because they wanted to save their $ for the second final.

Very odd move issuing tickets when Time is to be confirmed....
I suppose they're starting early to try and spread the load, so there won't be such a logjam on the Monday morning. Not a bad move I suppose, although I'm sure some people will complain that they had to wait until Monday to but their tickets (because they needed to know if it was a day or night game) and therefore they didn't have the choice of seats that the Thursday and Friday buyers had.

It'll be interesting to see how ticket sales go on Thursday and Friday.

I got to the ground really early (around 11am) and there was pretty much no line. I had nothing else to do really since I flew in so early, didn't know anyone in there so I hung out at Rundle St for a couple of hours and then hung out at West Lakes for a couple more hours.
Does anyone know when the game time will be confirmed? I'm keen to book my flights ASAP as I have a friends 21st that night + air fares are cheap ATM.

How bizarre to sell tickets to the match two days before we even know who the opposition is going to be. Oh well, I guess it should be a bit easier to get through seeing we won't be competing with supporters of the rival club.

Thanks for the heads up on that one Kimi:thumbsu:

Confirmed by the club.

5am Thursday at BASS for Crows98

My guess would be Saturday night after the two semi finals have been completed.

My guess would also be that they've already locked in Saturday night for Sydney amd Saturday afternoon for Adelaide.

I'm guessing that is the logic, it gets a head start on the ticket sales and reduces the Monday logjam.

@Vic Crow-

Cheap?

Where?
Virgin Blue - $99 each way is as cheap as you'll find during school holidays.
Happy hour with Virgin Blue might make them cheaper but the dates of travel for Happy hour fares seem to be between early October-mid November over the past couple of days.

Do I take the risk? :o

If they want to play at Telstra Stadium in Sydney that match must be on Friday Night, as the NRL play there Saturday Night.

I don't think they will have Friday & Saturday Night, to much gap a day can be vital, so that leaves us with Saturday Afternoon.

I think the 1 hour drive to Ararat and the 6 hour bus trip will be a bit easier on the wallet than a 3 hour drive to Melbourne and a flight.
