Moving on from the poster who still can't get over the day no one turned up to his 9th birthday party, rounds 15 and 16 could be very interesting or very uninteresting. In what is quite a weird fixturing result, over the next two rounds, the current top 5 only play teams from the bottom 5. If it isn't already, the premiership might be a race in 5 come this Saturday night.

But then again, most likely that the only certainty over the next two weeks is that an upset or three will occur.

Form and logic say no - finals race will be down to 5 by Sat night. The top teams will all know they have to win everything from now on to give themselves the best chance in finals. No team can afford to drop a game that the ladder says they should win given the various top 4 match ups in rounds 17 & 18.

De La battling. Each club take their turn at this and it’s just part of footy but they have been slaughtered with injury and unavailability in the back half of the season. An honest list but they lack the ‘star power’ and depth of other clubs who have managed to come through similar personnel challenges. Current team looks nothing like the sides they put out in the early rounds but they did take it right up to a pretty good Uni Blues side on the weekend in a mud wrestle.

With the comp so even I reckon 11 wins plus a decent % gets you in this year so the next 2 games are critical as I understand they will get a few back for the last couple of games. St Bernards seem to have their mojo back and would not be surprised to see them get up this week and really make the Lions nervous with 3 to play. With De La and Blacks faltering, If SKOBs get up this weekend they will be better than 50/50 to play finals

Well, it would be a massive achievement if skobs got there - albeit a rather calamitous event for this forum. However the chest beating would be mildly amusing.

Every club has its 'hanger ons' that cause embarrassment and usually you just shake your head at them, unfortunately for SKOB they have one that has a very active bigfooty account... I would hope that all users on here understand this and that any interaction with your normal skob supporters paints a very different picture of the club.

Those of us who are regulars entirely understand Flanker28. I've found Skobbers to be generally a good bunch. Unfortunately it does reflect poorly on the club when someone behaves in that manner and does it so often to the point where his behaviour caused our best poster to close his account as a consequence.

Without being across all the detail 100% as I'm not heavily involved in the place, you may find a link between the times he goes quiet and a directive given to him by the club to zip it. Seems it only lasts so long!
