With wet weather forecast for the remainder of the week, it looks like Beaumaris are the favourite to win the Premier B flag for 2016. Heavy conditions underfoot won't help the Tigers chances on Saturday, they prefer a dry, fast surface that will help their running game.

Sandy..of the 3 venues for the grand finals this week, is the one least likely to be affected by the rain with the sandy soil as it's foundations. If even if it is slippery, it sure won't be a classical bog heap.

I'm just wondering though if it will be a lockout down there. They would expect a capacity crowd.

Who is better placed out of the 2 finalists to adapt and improve to compete in A Grade (i know, old school) next year?
Or do both need to significantly improve to match it with the middle tear of A Grade?
Bernies (a great club IMO) found that step too hard this year

What do you mean Bernies struggles to "make that step"?

You do know they won the Premier division flag in 2015 don't you?

The arse fell out of their senior team and they tumbled DOWN the ladder. They were not a side promoted from Premier B.

Odd.

Onto more important stuff. Lets hope they can get the player numbers right for the record on Saturday, so many players wearing other numbers. Milne wasnt even listed in the Semi...

You do realise the numbers in the record are just the playing list - not the official team list don't you?

Very disappointed in the VAFA's decision not to stream live the Premier B Grand Final on Saturday. With bad weather forecast, I was looking forward to watching the game live on the VAFA's website, but they announced they will be showing the William Buck Premier Grand Final live instead.

Probably a smart call. I know I would have opted to watch it but instead I'll be going to the game. Makes sense not to stream it.

Should be a good game at TBO. Clearly the two best sides made it through. I think Beauy have better balance and talls but think St Bedes a deeper and stronger midfield. Tough one to call but I'd be going tigers by 2 goals.

I know that Beauy are a strong club but if Schneider walked in and took my spot for the Prelim and GF I wouldn't be over the moon. I guess it's lucky that they are in the ressies GF as well.

Not sure why Jascave was so paranoid about the weather, as it's a belter day. Bedes by under 3 goals.

How many games has Schneider played this year? I'm thinking the players and club would have loved having him down. Particularly finals time.

3 during the year. Heard he was playing up in the country for cash for other games and Beauy weren't happy. Could be garbage info though

Congratulations to Beaumaris on winning the 2016 Premier B Grand Final. The Sharks played 'the premiership quarter' to perfection and killed off the Tigers.

First B Grade flag to the mighty Sharks, with the Beaumaris boys running riot in the second half to get the spoils by five goals in front of a massive crowd. You wouldn't have backed them with counterfeit at half time after a shocking second quarter, but a sensational third quarter with the wind and an inspired into the wind last quarter saw Beaumaris raise the cup high. Sure to be a huge night down at Oak St with the Twos getting up as well with a big win over Scotch. Good work Dessie Haynes
