OP play 6 at home in the 1st 10 , including both v Fitzroy in the 1st 8 , personally Ormond play Rovers twice in the 1st 9 and then play Marcellin in the last 7 Glen Eira 5 home in the 1st 8. 1 HOME 1 AWAY
Clubs get to put in preferences about when they want home games too. OP may have requested this because of school fixtures. Nothing wrong with that Ormond have there ground every week available where as OP and other school teams have to deal with the schools.

There are more and more school games now with women’s football over the last few years in schools too.

Is the relegation between Glen Eira, Pegs, Marcellin & Ormond this year? Would put OP in there too but have heard they’ve been missing many through injury and being away and getting Payze back would be a huge bonus for them.

It's ground availability and councils are now wanting a Month off between footy and cricket and visa versa
Love the top 5 idea. First round of finals played at the HOME clubs ground.
Would love to see the first week of finals under the current structure played in this manner. Would make the allocation of finals ground much more managable.

Makes too much sense Mounz

GE travel to Mornington to play OP reserves then pack gear and head to Mt Eliza to play the senior game. They should be made to play both games at one ground. A joke.
Which ground in Mornington did they use? I know Mornington already has 2 clubs- Mornington Bulldogs and South Mornington Tigers, so curious to what other ground would be available

I remember the same thing a few years ago we had the ressies at another venue , with appalling rooms and ground and makes it hard with equipment
It didn't start till 2 15 and i see Pegs Fitzroy started at 2 30.
Ressies are now finishing earlier due to shortened Q's maybe time to bru=ing seniors forward 5 or 10 mins early

No excuses flogged fair and square in the 2nd half , but the 2 umps were so far over the top it wasn't funny 7 of the first 9 goals both ways were frees and acknowledged by both and just too many frees , over officiating like free on the boundary and moving the plyer an inch one way on the wing

the grounds are 10 mins away from each other and each club only visits once. it's not exactly a huge imposition.
Ever volunteered at a club where you have to organise both , or be part of it , i presume no

absolutely have, and do. as I said, each team visits once. they'll survive.
They will survive, until they cop it at Marcellin, then at PEGS, then at...

But, Bedders, it might still be the better of two evils. As you know, when the schools kick the old boys off their land, you end up with rich kids from Keysborough using community assets in Caulfield. Those assets could be being used by locals not old boy clubs from miles away.
