Yeah they always find a way to steer things around back to Hawthorn. Even in games not involving the Hawks.
"Geez they're missing a lot of shots today, gotta capitalise on inside 50s like the good teams do. That's what Hawthorn have been good at for so long." (Yes because it's remarkable they kick so accurately in an era that's been symbolised by the 30m-directly-in-front kick being the most difficult of all.)
"Beautiful kick inside the corridor" "Yeah those kicks can be risky, we've seen Hawthorn do it well over the last ten years." (Because apparently shite kicking is the standard in a game called FOOTball and beautiful kicks are trademarked by Hawthorn Football Club.)
"What a tackle! That was almost Cyril-like!" (Did you know Cyril Rioli tackles too?! Arguably the greatest tackler of all time. Even ahead of Jude Bolton and Brett Kirk who laid approximately 1246897532468643 more tackles than Cyril and in EVERY game. But again, tackling is a trademarked property of the Hawthorn Football Club.)

Wouldnt mind finishing second with Crows on top. I prefer playing Cats then Scum. (Cats have been atrocious post byes) There is no way Scum beat Crows over there
If we were to make I would be still very worried about our young guys
Can't buy enough experience

We purchased 182 games experience a few years back
Hawks experience is their big x factor imo, they know how to win and have home ground advantage
So if finals were next week we would play Hawks at ANZ where they beat us by 15 goals just over a year ago, different circumstances but yer still be a nervous wait.

Yep i hope we win, but crows win by enough to pass us

We always seem to get away then there back in it within 10 mins

I'm not too worried about facing the Hawks this time, I don't think we played well at all in Round 17 yet they still needed the umps to get them over the line. You can't write them off, but their results this year haven't been as good as their premiership years imo. We struggle the most against teams with multi-pronged attacks who can isolate our defenders one-on-one and this year the Crows are the team most likely to be able to do that as they did in Round 4.
Their umps worry me
You seen the umpiring in a hawks final?
God and you call me obsessed with the Hawks!
I was pissed off with the umpiring after our last loss to them, but having calmed down since then, we really should have won that game regardless of any actual or perceived umpire bias. Also swansfan51 doesn't like it when we whinge about the umpiring as it is beyond our control and often evens out over time as we saw in the Saints game. Good sides just take the good decisions with the bad and get on with the job.
The hawks were carried to a grand final in 2012 and 2014
glory be the umpires
We also lost the free kick count in the 2012 grand final by more than double (21-10) but still came away with the win, if we are good enough, it won't matter. I rest my case.

U changed cases
Originally they needed the umps to win in round 17
But yeah agree
Id like to ask the judge if i can approach the bench please
