Preseason - Who Cares?

Does anyone here actually care about the preseason comp?

Personally the result of it makes no difference to me as long as the team as fit and injury free for Round 1.

What do you think?

I care about:
a) Seeing the new recruits and what sort of player they are
b) Not having anyone injured
c) The result if we make the final, a la the year we played Adelaide at Telstra Dome and lost.

That's about the extent of it.

Don't love it but I like to see the new recruits. The fringe players have a shot to make a name for themselves. You can't win a million dollars if you don't win it. I'm sure a team like us would love to win the million bonus.

Now that WCE are getting handed another football lesson by Fremantle, I actually have to say I do care.

I HATE being beat by anyone on anyday especially Freo.

Cant wait for Rnd 1.

It's pretty useless for judging a team's worth (I mean, just look at the last coupla winners!), but it's good to see where individuals are at, after pre-season. That's the way I look at it.

Its good to see your new recruits. It also gives you a good look at the talent that you have forth, so you know were you are positioned at before the next draft.
