Press conference today

Sen said last night Mick Malthouse was going to be holding a press conference at some point today. Anyone got a time or any other information?

I say it's to Wrap Up the Friday Incedent against the Saints

I would doubt that.

The club dealt with that at the beginning of the week and should now be completely focussed on tomorrow night's game.

I don't know why they would want to announce anything today to be honest so close to the match. May be hotel related but would have thought that could have waited until next week.

Probably something really boring that no-one bar the media will give a flying **** about. That's what my money is on anyway.

Jesus, Mary and holy St Joseph - not another presser.

Just remember Mick - whatever you say, say nothing.

Good thinking Snaglette. Call a conference and then have them all sitting there in silence.

"What's this about Mick?"

"I know nusssssing."

Exit stage left.

No - he can bring in his grandson and announce that he's cut another tooth. Any feel-good story will do.

Actually, I'm getting an uneasy feeling atm......

Mick's called a presser to declare war on [strike]Germany[/strike] Hawthorn, no doubt.

How do you do that strike thingy? Wanted to use it, oh, so often. Could've been a contendor if I had that in my arseholnell.

Coiuld it be about this:?

Ian Brewer
The Collingwood Football Club is mourning the loss of 1958 premiership player Ian Brewer, who passed away in South Australia early on Thursday morning at the age of 73.

Or maybe, in something that's a bit more dramatic, he is stepping down as coach now instead of in two years time? Maybe it's just gotten too much for him?

That's my over dramatic guess of course not my realistic one.

Btw, you still haven't paid for that one-way ticket to Palooka-ville.

(open with [strike, close with [/strike, but obviously closing the brackets)

That doesn't sound right Blobs as Pert / Eddie would be fronting for that type of thing.

Ah yeah... Mick is holding the presser... in that case I would be very suprised if it was to do with anything but the game tomorrow. Makes no sense to make an announcement to distract the players, unless it is something that would motivate them further.

aasfe jhfawioeufw90aeh Between this and the Wunderkind I am going insane!

He's going to do a Parkinson-style interview with each member of the press. 10 mins each, cup of tea. Ask away, anything you like.

And then... they get nothing for the rest of the year. You can all go to hell, media slime.

Pre game presser is my guess.

Wouldn't a pre game presser involve someone from Hawthorn though, as a true match promotion.

My guess is maybe a new sponsor to replace Aussie Loans at the end of the year. (My hope too:o).

Plus SEN would not Announce it like that if it was just a Pre-Game Presser
