The price of lacking the courage to make the call to appoint Buckley at end of last season. Mick in under pressure firstly because people are starting to realised he is a failed coach of Collingwood, secondly becasue he finally has a finite end to his tenure and thirdly becuase of the Buckley scenario.

This is all a matter of opinion, but surely you cannot dispute the argument that MM is at the moment a better coach than Buckley, with 27 years as a senior coach, compared to Buckley’s 0 and a few months as an assistant, MM is surely going to be a better coach for Collingwood.
Also it is all very well to criticise MM for being a failed coach because he has not won a premiership, but you have to ask yourself would we have won one if we had sacked MM at some point and appointed someone else, whether that would have been an experienced coach or a coach with no senior experience.
Delayed. Dum de dum...
Fair call. I hope he does stay on and this is not about quitting.
I would say most likely it's about the pubs. However the other options on the board I see is:
- MM stepping down (too much media scrutiny, my family is effected etc etc)
- Player retirement
- New sponsorship deal / deal falling through
Any other speculations?

Given the week that's in it, what else could it possibly be?
Surely this is just the standard weekly press conference about the game?
Not sure what SEN are waiting for because CFC have posted some of Mick's comments already on twitter, and a photo of him at the presser!
MM announcing that he's gay - hence the Milne gibe (actually directed at MM), or than Rocca is gay and is coming out in a Mardi Gras style parade tomorrow night.
Mick wouldn't announce half of those Pongo. I'm thinking retirement of some persuasion.
They said MM is fronting the press conference so I doubt it about the pubs. Pert would do that. Same thing with the sponsorship deal.
So, it is either him stepping down (now or earlier than expected), apologising further, or this has been pumped up far more than it should have been and it's just a press conference about the game.
