I am amazed that Redden has been dropped? He must be injured because he is our number one ruck.

We must play 2 rucks on Sunday. None of this part time BS with Hoff and JT. We need to throw both rucks at Jacobs to tire him out.

Redden still struggles to run out a full game of AFL. Jacobs is quite mobile, and we'd almost be forced to sub Redden off after 3qtrs.

Lobbe has got a better engine then Redden. Moore also tells me, Hammer might still miss. Very unlikely Gray & Cassisi
will play this week.

I agree with that but Renouf offers nothing around the ground. Does not take many marks and you can't play him up forward.

I've finally realized what this is all about. The Crows fans are actually fearful that now we have what seems like a decent coach and an excellent fitness program, we will finally realize our potential. Just on first round picks - Hartlett, Boak, Wingard, Wines, Butcher, Moore, Monfries, Ebert and Pittard...that's a lot of latent talent that until now hasn't been tapped.

You guys will be laughing on the other side of your face when you come to the realization that there is no substitute for true talent, and that the Sydney method of hanging around the top of the table only works for them because they are in a market where they have to constantly prove themselves, whereas your bunch of prima donnas are so used to being sucked off by the media and general public in SA that they think they are number one, so why try harder?

Surprised to see Redden out...thought some of his tap work in the first round was superb. I know at this stage he doesn't do a lot around the ground but I thought he was on a development pathway. Renouf is a willing competitor but can't say I've ever seen him do much to write home about.

I don't think we should judge Renouf too quickly. He hasn't played a game with us yet with 2 healthy knees. Could end up being a better genuine ruckman than both Redden & Lobbe.

Absolutely 100% spot on.

Is Dom comes in I will be pissed. Nothing against the bloke but no one deserves to be dropped for him.

I still think Gray should have 1 more week off and come back next week as the sub.

The only change I agree with is Redden out for Renouf.

Happy to see Neade not getting dropped for Gray.

Do Crows supporters hang out on the Port board more than their own?
It is getting beyond a joke. Fair enough if you have some valid points about the game on Sunday and are interested to hear what supporters from the other side are saying about the game but some of the stuff they have been crapping on about here belongs in the Bay.

I don't normally post on the Port board, but I do frequent it to find out inside info and a few words of wisdom.
The junk that has been posted in this thread is ridiculous, Crows supporters are laughing on their own board about what they are getting away with.
I mostly post in the Bay as I love stirring Crows supporters up and this thread is Bayworthy!

Well here in Perth at the moment, we have rain. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Saturday, so I dare say Adelaide will have rain come Sunday.

So I'm not sure if Renouf will be coming in to directly replace Redden.

I can see either Cassisi or Moore coming in to replace Redden, with Lobbe, Trengove and Westhoff taking on the the ruck duties, with obviously Lobbe doing the most of it.

With Adelaide travelling to Brisbane last week and playing in the rain, if it does rain for our game Sunday, I wanna see the fresh legs of Mitchell play a full game and run the crows off their feet.

35% chance of 1-5mm on Sunday = Renouf for Redden.
Mitchells leg speed playing a full game to make up for 2 ruckman.

Only the part where he was bragging about your young talent and mocking us for not bottoming out.

Not once did I mock you for not bottoming out. I mocked the attitude of your players who are flattered to deceive in a town which is so far up their respective sphincters that every time they fail to reach the grand final, there's always some excuse and how next year will be the year. 05 against St. Kilda at home, 06 against West Coast at home, 07 against Hawthorn after being 30+ points up, the "Right in front of me game" against Collingwood, last year against Sydney at home...it's all mental application which stems from the fact that unlike the Crows team in 97/98, your players are under the impression that they've made it without even having won anything.

I'm tired of your players being celebrated like they have won a premiership when they've consistently choked when it's mattered for quite awhile now. Doesn't it bother you that you're not being mentioned in the same breath as Collingwood, Hawthorn, Fremantle and West Coast, even though you have the mix of players to challenge those teams? I remember when Crows supporters used to rip into guys like Perrie and McGregor, because they expected better. Now it seems as though everyone is treated as a superstar when they've done NOTHING to warrant such praise (bar Dangerfield, Walker, Jacobs and Thompson). Stop ****ing complaining about the umpires or the weather or what have you and just get it done.

Personally, I don't have a problem with Crows coming here to post, even if there's a touch of snide. It's all good and should be encouraged.

Renouf in for Redden is good.
Redden gets a rest. Renouf gets an opportunity and he and Lobbe provide a tandem attack on Jacobs.

Dom is an odd one as I can't see how he'd fit into the side barring a couple of other outs.
Surely Moore would go in before him?

I will be absolutely livid if we go into yet another Showdown with just one ruckman again. Especially after the farce that we put up with last time Lobbe was our sole ruck against Jacobs.

Hopefully Renouf comes in and thats the only change.

Redden deserves a rest. It will be a long season for the young big man.

I feel Mitchell pace and endurance should be utilised.

Yep, it would be a big mistake. You don't need another runner as I believe you've got us covered in that area. Your second ruck would be a strength not only against Jenkins but gives you an option in case Jacobs gets on top. C'mon Hinkley, take a lesson from the Primus playbook and play one ruck ;)

as long as we are attacking them with two rucks then I will be happy..

let's not be upset if a player comes in who you don't like for some reason.. there is no reason to doubt the club now.

we have good players busting for a spot in the SANFL and one or two of the best ones may come in.. that is a refreshing change.

Renouf for Redden is the best call for this game but at the end of the day if Ken Hinkley drops someone for Casissi or Gray its for a reason, he obviously knows something we dont, no point getting frustrated and angry just trust that Ken will put the right team on the field for the game
