Never in my 15 years of supporting Carlton did I ever contemplate throwing in the towel and ridding myself of the Navy Blue jumper, even through our darkest hours! I have never heard so many Collingwood supporters bitch and whine about their own teams performances, I even heard a few say they wanted to rip up the Collingwood jumper and membership and throw it in the garbage! Point is, I honestly believe the Navy blue Army is the most loyal and dedicated supporter base in the entire AFL and it brings a tear to my eye to see us in the eight finally after so many years.

PROUD TO BE BLUE!

Heres to the most overated team in the comp. Cheers!:thumbsu:

Sticking with the club during the dark years makes these wins all the more sweeter. Seeing the old "Collingwood shuffle" half way through the last quarter was just hilarious stuff. It's great when we beat them once, but beating them twice in one season is just magnificent.

Yep I never considerd changing teams, never even crossed my mind. Now we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and isn't it great for Blues fans, time to end the 6 years of pain.

We are the Navy Blues.

It's great to be a Carlton supporter, and never have I considered changing, not even for a second.

We've been through a lot of shit lately so it's great to see that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter after every week.

We still have a way to go, but we're on the way back, without a doubt. And I can't wait for the next few years when we get back to doing what we do best - playing finals footy.

:):) I am 59 years old and saw my first match at Punt Rd against Bitchmond in 1958. That was the first match that Big Nick played after a spell in Pentridge for selling a couple of cars that didn't belong to him. It was also the day I realised what it was to be a Carlton supporter after I saw my old man plant a good right hook on the jaw of a loud mouthed Bitchmond supporter who kept mouthing off at Big Nick about his holiday after being asked politely to tone it down. The bloke sat on his a*re with a very surprised look on his face but, at least he shut up. Carlton fixed up Bitchmond on that day too.

Since that time I have seen the Blues win 8 Flags (no one else has done this) and every time they have been down, they have come back bigger and better than ever.

I have never lost faith.

Believe me when I say we are on the way back and the other teams ( particularly that rabble at Moorabin who have been taking pot shots for the last few years) had better take notice. After what has gone on over the last few years - we will take no prisoners.

Make no mistake the Giant is stirring and Dick Pratt, Sticks and Ratten have put the Carlton back into Carlton. We are not and never will be continuous cellar dwellers.

We are Carlton - the famous old Navy Blues and F*ck the rest!!!

All other teams beware The Giant is stirring and we will take no prisoners in our march to Flag No. 17.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

PROUD TO BE BLUE

Imagine you have a dog but he does not stop the neighbours dog from coming over and crapping big time on your lawn.

If you love your dog it is bearable

But if you don't really love your dog, the little love you do have for him is replaced by nothing but hatred for the neighbours dog

You abuse your dog and your life becomes crap

Besides my family and friends....the next most important thing in my life are the Blues.

I love this club and have felt the last 7 years as much as the last person.

I was only 10 years old when the Blues last one a flag, and I remember it brought a tear to my eye. I shed a tear last Sunday against Collingwood and I don't think I was the only Carlton supporter to get emotional.

I live in Brisbane now as we relocated in 96, so my chance to get to carlton games are few and far between, yet I have and always be a full paying member. I can not put a price on the feeling I get when the lily of laguna breaks out across the G. It is for this reason that I am happy to give back to the club whatever I can.

Words cannot describe what this club means for me, I bleed for this club, worship the boys that wear the navy blue. My heart will always be CFC.

I was just a boy the last time we were powerful and cannot fully remember that feeling or that arrogance that we shared as a club. But something is happening, the tides are turning, the ships are coming in, the giant is awakening.

There is something going on at this club of ours that is scarying the shit out of 15 other clubs. They knew this day would come, yet they dreaded to the day when it would arrive.

The day is nearly apon us, the time is near. We have shed a lot of tears and have copped abuse and been constantly frustrated for the past 6 years, but I have a smile that is growing wider and wider, day by day.

We are back, we may not make the finals this year but....We are Carlton and we are the most successful footy club in Australia.

It is a pleasure and an absolute honor to support the same club as all you posters.

United we stand....cometh the hour...cometh the club..cometh the navy blue!!
