Luke Miles ;)

If you want a defender that is your man, not Armfield, as I've said elsewhere. Won Swans B&F as a 20yo, this year, Army was runner up. Played full back for us, but would play out of a pocket or as third tall.

I will be very upset if the Eagles don't take him, but if someone else does then good on him because he deserves a chance.

Greg Swann on SEN this AM said that at this stage they are looking at another kid.........the next one on their list from the draft.

He said with McGrath re-signing today there isn't much left with the recycled players, and that another kid would be the most likely pick.:thumbsu:
Fair enough too.

It's another weak PSD pool so with pick 2 in PSD and also then pick 2 in the rookie draft we can secure a couple more kids without having to commit for 2 years (like our national draft recruits).

we have been linked to him for a while and were considering him at pick 46 but armfield was still available
medium forward who kicks bags of goals....came 2nd in this years TAC goalkicking in a small amoount of games

LOL.............. we were considering Bongetti at #46 ?

Have you spoken to Wayne Hughes or Shane Rogers or are you just making this up ?

I bet you have no source that is remotely credible for this claim, and be extremely surprised if Carlton or any other club rookies him. Carlton is inviting 5 kids to train before PSD & RD, lets see if Bongo is 1 of them.
He has been offered a contract to play in Tasmania next year.

What you guys think about Aaron Joseph?

I read that he tested well for agility and speed at draft camp, has played good football for the past two years and puts his head over the ball just like Kreuzer, Browne and Armfield.

Do you think we're a chance to take Joseph in the PSD or with pick two in the rookie draft?

With state screening results like his you would have to suggest there is a serious and incorrectable flaw in his game if he doesn't get rookied at least. Winning the B&F I would have thought would go some way to dispell that notion.

I believe there are links to the club but really would be hard to find a spot for him on the list no matter how hard you tried....good footballer, strong body, good hands, just never going to have the speed or agility to play AFL. As you say, would never have come into calculations for #46. Would be lucky to get the third rookie spot let alone #46.
