I wanted to post last night, but Richmond broke Bigfooty.

A few points:
1) No passengers - it was bloody hard to pick a top 5 players. Everyone had their moments. A real team effort.
2) Effort and pressure - best it's been in a long time. We just kept forcing errors. Great to see.
3) Room to play - Miller and Ross are the two that come to mind. Great games when given a chance to play their preferred positions. I've been a believer in both for a long time and I was thrilled to see them have great games.
4) The Kids - Lalor and Trainor - wowee.

I had 3 players delisted and Taranto playing in the VFL half way through the 2nd quarter.

The best part of it all other than the $15 I put on them, is that the perfect player for Carlton right now, the player they could do with most is Sam Lalor.

They must be deep in thought about our fitness guy as well. We looked full of run at the end.

How much are we putting the result down to our new training regime?

We were running on top of the ground with repeat efforts the whole game, we really just kept coming. Halfway through the second quarter I said to my Dad, why does it suddenly feel like we're on top? We look structurally sound all of a sudden.

Went to the G last night not expecting much but was genuinely excited to see the kids play.
I said to my son Lalor will kick 3 tonight and although the prediction never happened OMG by the end of it
we all witnessed the birth of a future mega star of the competition.

This teams setup reminded me so much of the of the 2017 side, the hunger for the contest, quick hands, speed on the ground, smallish forward line. I ****$#g loved it and it was a pleasure and a honour to have witnessed the flogging of those arrogant Carlton flogs in real time.

Special mentions

KMac again played a selfless game and really showed why he is so important to the club. (I'm still pissed that the only gave him a 1 year contract) that was dog by the club.

Jack Ross if everything had gone right for him we would have in penciled in as a future captain by now.
I still feel sorry for him when he missed out on a Premiership.
IMO he is the most reliable and consistent player on our list.

Thompson Dow will blossom under Yze, Dow hads the ability but no other coach beleived in him like Yze does.
Get him to 50 games asap.
