Gotta say that I like Don Pyke a lot more today than I did/have for the past 6 months. The guy deserves full and complete respect. Sure it appears he made some clanger mistakes but who of us could operate so well while having to deal with sham operators like Burton. He has exited with real poise and class.

It’s interesting to actually speak with high performance athletes. The realisation they are human.

Young lad we knew recently went away with an Australian junior cricket side. When he returned he mentioned all the time he was away he was counting the time to get back for footy.

He mentioned his true love is footy, but he’s accepted he’s better at cricket, even though he doesn’t really love it.

The only reason why he may undertake the Review process is throw certain people under the bus cough* cough* Burton and Campo, that basically killed his coaching career at the Crows.

He still might, the Review is meant to be a confidential process. He may feel comfortable to disclose to Dunstall who is of solid character and reputation without fear of a leak and repercussions. Sure while it may look like sour grapes, if it confirms and validates the general feeling of input the Review committee receives it can be a positive.

A bad CEO or coach can destroy any organisation and the fact the players went to them gives an indication of how bad this group of staff is.

I think the players have higher expectations than the board and thats the issue.
They're demanding better while the board are happy with Burton, Hart, Camporeale.

What would you do if these 3 were your bosses and largely responsible for your success.

I sat with friends from the country in the GA area of the southern stand of the GWS game - how ****ing high up is that just quietly - having never watched from there you get a really good perspective of the defensive set up which worked really well that night.

Clean ball to our forwards ( 6/6/6) - and last half fade outs (fitness) all combined for the perfect storm
