A little birdy told me Coorparoo getting points reductions of 2 points off any players they recruit from other QAFL sides but only applies to one player from any club.
Was waiting to hear what leg up they would receive entering the competition. Maybe Baz can confirm?

Thought they also had 55 points and the discount only applies to players recruited from the Top 6.

We received several concessions around penalty points and additional points, which were communicated to all QAFL
clubs in October. The concessions are now somewhat diminished due to policy changes post that Oct in regard to penalty points being reduced to 1 points in certain scenarios for clubs.

Any rumours circulating about an ASADA out of competition positive test? I'm sure a few of you can guess.
A typical debutant post on big footy
There are in season and out of season illicit drugs. Steroids for example would be out of season (and in season obv), cocaine would be in season only I think. Anything that has a lasting effect and helps to improve strength, cardiovascular capacity would be banned outright. Others that have a 24hr effect only for game day really.Out of competition positive test?

Not hearing much from Grange camp on social media. Looks like Uni picked up a few more of their players and Redcliffe taken a big slice as well. Will Martyn gone to Melbourne also. Haven’t heard any major signings on socials?

QAFL and QAFLW fixtures announced ahead of the 2025 season - Play AFL
The fixtures for the 2025 QAFL and Bond University QAFLW have been released, featuring new teams and a new finals series in both leagues.
Yeah as far as I know no drug testing at QAFL level. I remember ASADA reps would come every now and then back in our NEAFL days but nothing for 12 years since

Looks like Coorparoo will be challenged right away against Palmy round 1. Wonder how many they will get when they play old rivals Morningside and also Mt Gravatt.
Not much happening on here so may as well give a run down on how Noosa are shaping up. Nearly all signed recruits are here with numbers in the track post Christmas terrific. The boys look really fit and it’s great to see Big Ben Archard and Curtis McCarthy healthy and looking like playing big chunks of the year unlike 2024. Ash Byrne and Matt Gaul look like serious players when watching match sim whilst everyone really impressed also with development coach Jackson Gash another recruit.
As mentioned in earlier posts we are coming from a long way back but are confident of moving up a few rungs in 25. A healthy list and some competition for Senior spots from an improving Reserve Grade is a must!We have Mt Gravatt at home on March 8 then travel down to meet the defending Premiers in our final practise match on March 15.
Footy department very happy with the draw so just have to wait and see how it all unfolds
