A unique playoff alignment with the remaining finals sides split into an all Brisbane cluster with Aspley & Morningside playing to meet Redlands next week and the other 3 into an all Gold Coast cluster with Surfers & Labrador facing off with the winner to meet Palmy next week.

Any news on GF venue yet?

It’s a very solid start.

Griffiths VFL experience with suns, Khoo is VFL listed with Southport atm, played a couple games I remember. Torney dominating VAFA.

Compared to the Div 3/ressies they signed last year lol.

No such thing as home final for Colts and Ressies. Always align with Seniors finals. Noosa colts will drive even further next week to play at Redlands

Yeah not sure the colts have to align with Seniors. I think Miller mentioned what a logical decision it was to have both colts games at Aspley yesterday.
So with the prelims in the colts you have Aspley v Sherwood and Morningside v Noosa why not play both at say Hickey Park?

All the Div 1 grand finals next week are at Hickey park but definitely see your thinking there. Not common for AFLQ to use common sense, let alone twice in the space of a week.

Khoo played with Labrador yesterday and yes he's aligned with Southport . Why would he sign at Mt Gravatt when he's already at a QAFL club that has strong ties with Southport .

Scholard unlikely to go round - been a great footballer for the Roos. Wagner the same, Mckenzie having a shoulder reco possibly not, Warren hasn't had knee op yet I'm told.. Could be a bit of change at Fish rd in 2026 onfield.
