Last night's performance seemed a continuation of the first quarter in round 23. We were willing to change angles with ball in hand and when we got within range looked to kick the ball over their backs in order to turn them around.Agree. We played great, but they made it easy with their panicked kicks forward. Our defence always looks better when we force those kind of entries.
The big thing for me was the number of players who did their part. I think we only had two ordinary players, Cox and Membrey (maybe add Mihocek), everyone else played well. The Crows do make ball movement and forward 50 entries difficult, but we were able to work through that.
Defence and pressure are always going to be there for us. The Crows poor efforts made some of that easier. It's the rest of the game that was incredibly promising. We didn't play pretty football for the most part, but it was effective
Just an absolute ****wit who has no idea how to hide his hatred for one club in particular. Its quite sad for a high profile journo to be such an unprofessional little bitchIs this guy for real? does he actually get paid to be a journo? i feel like i'm in bizarro land.

Yep, Nick is next level and beyond.Just nice to know that our chance to win a premiership is back in our own hands if we are good enough - and our season wasn’t derailed by our shaky performances/close losses/player management/difficult draw.
Also, I have seen peak Buckley, Swan and Pendlebury in my time, but I have never been more confident in one of our stars performing on the big stage as I am of Nick Daicos - we have genuinely won the lotto getting this kid.
For any of the wannabe analytical nerds like myself this channel by Jeff White is super. This bloke would be an asset to any club with his footy brain IMO.

Adelaideans carry on about Pies playing 14 at the G. They play 13 at Adelaide Oval - 11 of them with a significant advantage - whereas for all but about 5 of ours it's a pretty bloody neutral venue.Yes they are the same type of people, the funny thing is we played 6 interstate games = to Geelong this year, excluding the game last night. that would make it 7. But as you mentioned. Apparently, Collingwood does not travel interstate.
An angry Bruz is my favourite part of football. Oppo flogs flying everywhere like tissues in a stiff breezeMan that spear at the end got the plums up and about, if we can manage to get to the granny imagine the bull coming out with that aggression in the first few mins
Is pickle finally pickled? Been awfully quiet
We should play at AO more IMOAdelaideans carry on about Pies playing 14 at the G. They play 13 at Adelaide Oval - 11 of them with a significant advantage - whereas for all but about 5 of ours it's a pretty bloody neutral venue.
Particularly in that sort of atmosphere. The best thing about the hostility of the crowd is that it was like when cricketers say you learnt very quickly to not sledge some batsmen as it just focussed him more. The crowd were our firend, as if we weren't going to handle that sort of atmosphere better than themWe should play at AO more IMO
Nah, the stadium is not big enough, it brings our overall crowd figures down.We should play at AO more IMO
yeah, you didn't sledge Viv, and definitely not Curtley!!Particularly in that sort of atmosphere.
