Hahahaha they were talking premierships half way through last season then went out in straight sets, kedrons a whole different story dropping back they should be favourite but for carrara amount of money they are spending on one player i hope the rest of the saints are all for it, just like Redcliffe the amount they are spending on their new players lets hope thsir players that have been there through thick and thin understand that the reason their fees have gone up is to help pay these players, my roosters every club should take a leaf out of our book and just spread the dollars evenly that way there is no potential devide between players.

Not that I have to defend Nicko, he certainly didn't walk out of Pirates. His work and personal situation changed which led to him having to resort to just playing Friday nights. However he was first to put his hand up to help out whenever we were short.

Certainly goes to Carrara as s seniors coach with our support. Doesn't mean we can't have a crack at him in regards to any players he is recruiting from our club as that is the norm. But we do it to other clubs so we are well aware it will happen to us as well.

All part of the vicious circle of QLD lower level footy.

I am surprised nothing has been said about the animal from Ipswich reserves who kicked the Redcliffe player in the head in finals last year. He went to court yesterday and was given 12 months jail but will be released on parole after 2 months. Not a good look for the Ipswich club or this competition to have this make national news. Seeing the footage again last night reminded me of what a dog act it was. Hoping the Redcliffe player is ok and recovered well

Why would you be suprised? The matter has been delt with, the player in question was given a life time ban from the Eagles befor he even went to the tribunal. Aflq was happy on how the club handled the matter and how we followed up with Redcliffe numerous times to see if their player was ok. Both clubs have moved on and i believe are in a better position than this time last year on and off the field. Whether he is out in a couple of months or not its beyond our control.
Sounds to me you have nothing better to do than stir some shit.

Was a terrible act. I doubt Ipswich told him to do it. Seemed like an individual decision that was putrid no doubt but hardly the clubs fault. What more do you think should be done considering he has been banned for life at Ipswich, 20 years from aflq and 2 months in jail (which is more than that dog got for king hitting the young fella in the valley mind you)?

I have re read my post and I still can't see where I bagged any one. All I did was state facts. I never said the club was at fault I said it was a bad look for the club ( please let me know if you don't think it's a bad look). I did not comment on the jail terms I just stated what they were. I made no comment about the suspensions he got (but good in the eagles for doing what they did) so in effect you (and flying eagle) are ok to attack someone who is just stating facts.

I heard today Redcliffe aren't getting anyone to training??? And the coach has no idea. My prediction is he'll be gone by round 1.
