They are based at 2 separate High Schools in 2 different suburbs.what’s the distance between grounds?
In regards fixture last Wednesday an email went out to Friday night clubs that stated “due to a necessary restructure of the Saturday competition fixturing, there is a delay in providing the Friday Night football fixture”.We are the last to get a draw out. Probably don't pay enough in fees to warrant any priority.
Due diligence is never done or you wouldn't have had 2 teams forfeit all year.
When you are just going off the word of people who have dreams and are removed from reality. You can be certain that failure is a given.
Park ridge situation is a insult to the years of comitment they have given to AFL footy in that area.
It's pathetic that the powers to be just cancel the right to have juniors.
Given the 1 million participation agenda this is contrary to the goals of the AFL.
If a new club wants to start up that's fine but making another club defunct to help them is just wrong. I know blocker I'd say this is far from over.
So if he needs support from any clubs I hope you are lining up to speak up against this injustice.

What is a feta club?I’d be surprised if all the politics for moving to everleigh and a hostile like take over in the whole new club thing and no juniors wasn’t planned a long time ago. I’d say someone or some people clearly wanted to move away from park ridge for a while now. And they had help with people from AFLQ who had the same mindset. Although wouldn’t surprise me if AFLQ just decided to go along with it without any planning or thinking.
With the women’s comps. My 2 cents would be any club that isn’t QAFLW should be a feta club into QAFLW. And QAFLW should be the only the only comp that has a reserves side. Until we can grow a higher number of female participants in the lower divisions.
I meant feeder club. Didn’t realise it auto corrected to feta. Cheese anyoneWhat is a feta club?
Why should any club be a feeder club to any other club? All the lower level clubs just exist to serve the QAFLW/QAFL teams? Of course the players who have aspirations will move to test themselves but clubs work hard to develop and grow their own players, not just to provide talent to other teams.I meant feeder club. Didn’t realise it auto corrected to feta. Cheese anyone
It’s where the old Greeks talk about cheese! What is a feta club?
This is gonna hurt. I think I agree with you.Feeder club. They ain’t making that change this season though. Mucking round with rubbish.
The 2 Coorparoo sides is a thing though. Ironic they need it because they have no colts yet it was Gibson that presided over the ridiculous decision to can them and now uses his influence to get his way.
You’d be filthy if you were at about 4 other clubs who have all been told no in the past.
If both Everleigh and Park Ridge are at high schools then what is the problem? Both sitting on nurseries and just get on with it. Aflq can’t legally deny park ridge.
Div 2 will now be east and westSo decisions made so far this year.
Park ridge are told you can't have juniors.
Coorparoo is allowed to have two Friday teams.
Noosa allowed in Div 1 with only one team.
It's only early March plenty of time to add to that list.
Any guess on the next wtf is going on decision.

They have also made highly dangerous decisions in youth football of having 2 on the bench and not allowing water carriers. So decisions made so far this year.

The more we ask the more laughable it becomes. They have also made highly dangerous decisions in youth football of having 2 on the bench and not allowing water carriers.
Two on the bench? Is that all Youth age groups? And what’s the reasoning behind no water carriers? They have also made highly dangerous decisions in youth football of having 2 on the bench and not allowing water carriers.
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. What happens when there are injurys etc, what happens when A kid gets a heat injury because they cant get enough water because only three players can swap out at a time ? These clowns have no idea what they are doing. Are these rules australia wide ?Two on the bench is girls 13’s. 3 for 15 girls and 17’s. Boys haven’t changed I don’t think, might be wrong. No water carriers to encourage coaches to bring players off more so more kids get game time and they don’t leave their guns on the field the whole time. Bizarre rule and idea.
13 boys also, down to 2 on the bench. Water carriers being fukwits also weighed into it.Two on the bench is girls 13’s. 3 for 15 girls and 17’s. Boys haven’t changed I don’t think, might be wrong. Water carriers are required in QLD footy, it’s a joke13 boys also, down to 2 on the bench. Water carriers being fukwits also weighed into it.
With some of these decisions it could get worse. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
