Listening to SEN on the way home from work tonight and one of the topics got me thinking a little.
They were discussing Sheedy and likely replacements at the end of the year. The one name that kept coming up was Bombers. Basically they were saying his style of game was close to what Essendon's is and thus a good replacement for Sheeds at the end of the year if he was not to go on.
Daniher's name also came up. What I was thinking though is "Would Daniher be a good coach for Geelong to replace Bomber?"
Second time around coaches have done well over the years (if you get the right one). Blight, Matthews etc all had better success at their second clubs. He is very good in fronting the media and has the passion that many of us are after. Also has gotten Melbourne to the big one and a few prelims......with not the greatest of lists to deal with (though good all the same).
Soooooo now I open this thread up to the rest of you - thoughts?
