Look forward to the day that there is once again a packed JD stand at punt road.

What year was that stand built?

HISTORY
During the 1913 football season, crowds at Punt Road grew so much that spectators were turned away, prompting Richmond Cricket Club secretary George Bird to formulate a debenture scheme that raised ££4000 to build the stand. It was completed in 1914 by Elsternwick construction firm L. & J. Roswell to designs prepared by architecture firm T. Watts and Son. An extension was added in 1927.

The stand at Punt Road was originally named after Dave Chessell, a schoolmaster and historian, who served as Richmond Cricket Club secretary in three long stints, beginning in 1893, and as a football club committeeman. Chessell had a habit of quoting Shakespeare in his cricket club annual reports. The stand was renamed after Jack Dyer on May 24, 1998, during one of Dyer's last official functions.

That extension stand was built where the pool is today wasn't it?

and it's never been refurbished for safety?

Melbourne builder's hard stretch gets payoff
by: TRADING ROOM: Sarah Danckert From:The Australian August 16, 2012
Last year Buxton refurbished Richmond Football Club's entire Punt Road facilities, including refitting the club's office space, updating the coaching and playing facilities in the Jack Dyer stand and constructing a new three-level building for the club.
Briggs says the Richmond job was much more difficult than the St Kilda job because it was done in stages and the AFL team remained in occupation of its clubhouse and facilities.

I'm actually thinking of getting my old man the coola can mini fridge for Christmas

- given the size, are these in stock (i.e. I can just rock up and buy), or do I need to pre-order?

- is the superstore likely to be having any sales pre-christmas?

Stig, this is in no realation to anythign Martin related.
Just curious.

The 3-strike policy, does that have a way to take back a strike?
Through good behaviour, or is it there forever?

It's a policy that is purely related to illicit drugs. You can't un-take drugs. I'm sure it'd be there forever, unless there's a set expiry date like after 3-5 years or so.

Is there not a behaviour 3-strike policy?

Hey mate, you need to order them online or over the phone.

We'll have a sale, but no run out stock/garage style in the past.

This is nit-picking, but businesses that turnover 50mil a year, it still amazes me at how slow the RFC are at in updating our website. Clicked on the 'players' page last night... still no mention of draftees and there's no player profile picture of those that were traded in over a month ago.

I'll cop grief for saying this, but its just amateurish. The website for most businesses is their most important asset, sometimes l think our marketing / brand /membership department are nothing more than a glorified PA. How hard is it? It seriously should have been up within a few hours of the event, maybe a day at worst.

The look and feel of the website is fine, however information outside of the front page is poor.
