In response the the AFL.com.au reports that Gale is the key contender to replace AA, RFC/Gale can advise:

1) Flattered with the compliment, but ain't happening. Unfinished business at Tigerland, and I ain't leaving till the job is done

2) I believe my goals and aims for RFC are either achieved or on the way to being done, so I am confident to hand over the reins to a new person to take the club to the next level as I take up a new challenge in the AFL

3) No comment.....


On a personal note, Gale has taken our club for the first time in decades out of the slime and mire of incompetence, and we are beginning to show the signs of what a real AFL club looks like. While I'd never begrudge someone taking up a promo or advancement on their career, I'd be gutted to see him leave just when we are close to getting our mojo back.

Ha, I can't answer any of that right now. If we're only going off an afl.com.au report for this then there's not much substance to it.
