I believe both Bingle and Jeep are signed up till 2016 (maybe 17, can't remember) so we will have gone 6 years without a change of sponsor (apart from Kooga renaming themselves to BLK). Stable club and sponsorship = a stable jumper.
Yep I should say 'can' if the clubs continually changes the jumper.

Clubs are allowed 3 jumpers per year and we have training and preseason jumpers

This - and ours have been the traditional, the clash, and in the last couple of years the one off ones (ie this years one iwth the names on)

Stig, when in Melbourne a few weeks ago, I dropped in to the ME Bank Centre to pick up some merchandise and, as it happened, check out a couple of quarters of the game between Bachar's squad and a group of indigenous players. Very impressed with the state of the ground and facilities. However, just a couple of points.

One of the players on the Club's 2015 calendar was Aaron Edwards who I recall was recently delisted. Maybe a bit more care might be taken in future when choosing who of the possible 12 players on such a calendar should be included.

Also, there seemed to be an enormous amount of animal droppings around the top level of the grandstand. Don't know what the source is but they are appear to eat an incredible amount of bowel moving material.

We don't do the calendars, an outside company does for all teams (look at the Bulldogs one for example) and they do them early, i.e: when you were here they were already out so they were made when, April or May?

They are possum droppings. If you've been to this area much before, the possums are famous due to all the trees around here. Leave the car park in winter at night and you see more than your fair share. A few of them get in the roof, Brendon once threw himself on one to catch it (very funny story). Theyre not often in the building much more, but they love the Jack Dyer Stand. The stand is cleaned weekly in season, not sure how often when out of season.

Thanks Stig. I understand the reasons behind a lengthy time line between the production of a Club calendar and it's release. It's not a criticism of the RFC - just a suggestion that the Club liaise more closely with the production company with a view to giving the company a set of players who are almost certain to be there for the relevant year. Certainly not our fault but the end result doesn't reflect well on the Club.

Would have loved to see a six foot nine Benny launching himself on a one foot long possum. Benny can count himself lucky he didn't catch it. Plastic and reconstructive surgery is painful and expensive. And not for the possum.

He actually did catch it...there's nothing that man can't do.

I'm torn Tigerland55. Part of me wants to know the story. The other part believes anything Stig can tell me will never be as good as anything I can imagine.
Stig is the master story teller.

Ash was very good at her job and popular with staff as well as members. She's found a new job as people do, and we will miss her and wish her nothing but the best.
